turnin two
Hillsboro doesnt need to work on 7 on 7 with Hoover. They need to work on pass protection with Hoover. Maryville embarassed Hillsboro last year with their pass rush and blitzes. Hillsboro didnt look like they had a clue where the next guy was coming from. 12NCS
Hillsboro doesnt need to work on 7 on 7 with Hoover. They need to work on pass protection with Hoover. Maryville embarassed Hillsboro last year with their pass rush and blitzes. Hillsboro didnt look like they had a clue where the next guy was coming from. The Burros had defensive breakdowns in the secondary last year in the Championship game. They will work 7 on 7 with the nation's best to improve on reading offensive routes and concepts. Maryville is no slouch and they might have had something to do with the results in the Championship game. Best of luck to your team this year
Big Country
Hoover didn't win the championship last year so how can anyone refer to them as CURRENTLY being "the best in the nation"??????
12NCS
Hoover didn't win the championship last year so how can anyone refer to them as CURRENTLY being "the best in the nation"?????? s Some of the Nations best are Dallas Texas Arlington Lamar, Don Bosco Prep (#1 New Jersey #6 in Nation), Evangel Christian #1 in LA), Foley #5 in AL (Nations best Receiver Julio Jones), Hoover #2 in AL #35 Nationally, Nease #2 in FLA remember the name Tebow, Norcross GA finished regular season 10-0, Olive Branch #2 in Miss, Prattville #1 in AL #9 Nationally, Roswell #1 in GA, Sacred Heart-Griffin #1 Illinois, Shiloh Christian #1 in ARK, Thomas Jefferson #2 in Pennsylvania. All these teams as well as many other great teams with big time talent and big time coaching will be there. Hoover is the most recognized High School football program in the nation. They lost in the State Finals to Vanderbilts future Quarterback. Hoover still finished #35 in America after the loss in the Finals.
CoachT
Hoover didn't win the championship last year so how can anyone refer to them as CURRENTLY being "the best in the nation"?????? There are 40 teams from 9 states there which is what he meant by the nation's best. "Many of the nations' best" might have been a better way to phrase it but there are definitely some good teams there.
Footballfan15
Man is this a time to be picking peoples words apart? A team raises the money to travel to compete against very good competition and all people wanna do is take shots. Sounds like some underlying problems exist. The Burro's will be improved in all aspects of their game due to a rigid off season where they have learned what coach Blade and his staff are teaching. Thanks for your interest. Hoover is ONE OF THE BEST teams in the country. Hoover is not THE BEST team in the country. That's simply all I was pointing out. Hats off to Hillsboro for scheduling such a high level of competition to better themselves for the upcoming season. Don't take it so hard Footballfan15. Footballfan15
I think the reason that the Burro's are traveling is to get a chance to play some of the best talent and Hoover high School is hosting the event. I thinnk that is what 12ncs is saying. I know there are 9 #1 teams from nine states and the Burro's may never face Hoover but will see some very good talent and coaching staffs. REBELRON
Playing that competition will only make Hillsboro better.
