noonesfool
I'm going to step out on a limb and say Murville, until someone takes it from them.
FootballFan423
Maryville, with other contenders being Morristown East, Hillsboro, Sullivan South, and I'm sure a few others will make good runs.

FootballFan423
cant forget about Morristown West I think West will be good, but I don't think they will make it deep into the playoffs this year. Maybe 2nd round or the quarters. East is the team to beat from Morristown this year.

REBELRON
I'm not for sure but I herd maryville was returning 11 starters if thats true they might have it easier then last year Maryville returns 6 starters on defense. DL. Justin Smith DL. Josh Cantwell DL. Marcus Englehardt DB. Steven Shiver DB. Caleb Clement DB. Tyler Clendenen Todd Hollingsworth played a lot on the DL. Chris Jordan played at DB a lot last year. DL and DB is set. Linebacker is where some kids need to step up. The last 3 seasons Maryville's linebackers were as good as any in the state. Jeffery Booker and Jordan Halsne has a lot of experience. Maryville has 4 starters back on offense. 5 if you count Brent Burnett.Burnett split time with Derek Hunt last year. OL. Caleb West OL. Broughton Greene TE. Aaron Douglas WR. Steven Shiver I wouldn't be surprised to see Hollingsworth on the Oline. At WR you will see Clendenen,Jordan and Clement maybe go both ways unless others step up. Cody McCoy and Thomas Shuler will be the tailbacks. They may not be near as big as Tank,Tallent,McCord and Stewart in the past but these guys are faster. Both kids run a 4.5 I think Maryville will do well on offense and defense. What I am concerned about is who is going to be the kicker? Maryville will compete for a title. I expect Central to bounce back and have a good season. Red Bank will be strong.
reaction
Maryville.
osunut2
Until they move up to 5A in a couple of years, Maryville will be the odds on favorite every season in 4A. Even after the move, they will be an annual favorite for the 5A title.
