If ryan is sitting the whole first half then west is in trouble. Klotzbach and Easterly are good athletes but someone has to get them the ball, and i don't see wagner leading the team to victory against a pretty good admirals team this year. 5 days is not a lot to learn and get in rythm with your offense.

i dont think the loss of ryan for one half is that big of a deal because wagner has started and played significantly at the qb position in the past. and its not like he's been trying to learn the offense in 5 days since he's been the #2 qb all of preseason. but i think it does give farragut a little more of an advantage because wagner has shown great ability at rec.

West by 14. If Farragut loses its tailback they are doomed. West does not miss anyone player all that much. It would hurt Farragut much more than West. Sure Farragut will be much bigger up front, but the first step means a whole lot though.

If Farragut has a good rush and a secondary that can cover, Farragut should be in good shape. If Ryan's out, then even more likely that Farragut wins.

Wagner @ QB in 1st half helps West. Wagner was one of the best scrambling/blitz avoidance QBs around when he was @ Fulton....and playing. He can throw it well, and there is no doubt in my mind that as far a Jack is concerned, he is the best QB on the team anyway:) So confidence won't be an issue for Jack, and probably not for his coaches or others on the team. Farragut would be wise not to blitz Wagner like they might have intended to blitz Ryan. Coach Rankin @ Alcoa could probably vouch for that after last yr.

ruse?

I disagree a little bit. Yes he is a better athlete and is more elusive then ryan, but he is still the 2nd stringer. If he really was doing so well at slot, then obviously he was playing quarterback with 2nd string guys. West has athletes so it might not be a huge problem but i just think timing and chemistry might be an issue, along with Farragut's RB. Farragut by 7

I like how West is using the Phil Fulmer disciplince process. IF your good, the punishment is not too severe. If the kid got a DUI, why is he not suspended for the entire/multiple game(s)?

Well, the kid didn't get a DUI, in fact it wasn't really that bad at all. Rumors have blown it out of proportion. I won't he exactly did, but he's having to serve other punishments as well.

For the last time it was not a DUI......if u dont kno then dont worry about it ....things will happen as the coaches see fit. And i agree w/ some people this could actually help West...with Wagner as QB it could give them a advantage as far as escaping blitzes and getting a oportunity to make a play on a third down when any other time it would be a sack........the worst thing farragut could do is to underestimate Jack because he is a "2nd stringer"

    • There are some potentials internal to the school system. Due to timing of this, that may be the route they go. If so, I'd say a few names would be, Brandon Eden, Kyle Gregory, or BJ West. Eden and Gregory have only been assistants at the HS level but may express interest. West has not been on the HS staff but has been HC of the Middle school that last few years and word on the street has been that he is highly interested. There may be others as well.    Going outside of the school system, a few names come to mind: Rennard Woodmore, Adam Keeton, and Josh Hackett. But I have no idea if any would interest.
    • A lot of people wanted him.
    • Sure, we can talk about it if you want to. Do you want to talk about zoning for Oak Ridge over the past 10 years with some kids from west? Lol. I don’t think so. I see your point, especially for a private school that stinks at football, but I’m just saying that you said the running back who is arguably one of the best transfers from TKA that West got is Zoned for West, and that’s just incorrect.
