Anybody know how it went. Midway people don't say much on hear, and Unaka has been silent. My guess is Midway must have been on the winning side.

Midway 25 Unaka 0. Midway is a very good team with a sound offense and a tough defense. Unaka moved the ball very well at times and others not so good. The defense is sputtering and still trying to find the right people in the right places and was exposed in both scrimmages thus far. Look for them to get it straightened out and be in the running.

Yes that is most of the problem. Its kind of hard when all 3 starting RB's and DB's go down with bizarre injuries. They should be healthy in a week or so.

First of all if you are going to call someone a name learn how to spell it. The word is naive. Second in a scrimmage you have so many plays no matter what (fumble, interception...) and you still get to keep the ball. Also you are not going to play all of your plays that you would in a real game. You are also going to put players in positions that they normally don't play. All a scrimmage is for is to see what you need to work on before you start the season. In most cases you can see if a team is better than the other team but it really does not tell if they are about even. Only if the other team stomps a mud hole. And no Unaka has not gotten mud holes stomped in them.

 

As far as our injuries yes, they are sidelining but not season ending.

 

Who is better Midway or Harriman? I think it will be a great game between the two. Midway has a great line and a deep bench as does Harriman but I do think that Harriman has the playmakers that Midway don't.

2 or 3 quality staters being out can make a huge difference in a 1a team. Ibelieve Unaka will be alright once they get healthy. On another note, I've saw both Hampton and Cloudland in action. They both look pretty good. Its fun keeping up wit these scrimmages ,but the truth will come out once they turn on the Fridays night lights. Its drawing neigh.

I'd say that is just too close to call at this point.after Hamp. the 3 or 4 teams are pretty even and alot will depend on the breaks that each team can use to their benefit.(injuries,turnovers,etc...) i'm pretty sure Pujo feels the same.
