SP does have a great facility it has had alot of inprovements over the last few years and they have made it one of the best stadiums around the valley besides mchs but both r very nice

I 1st thought perhaps a/c for the SP staff... "NOPE, to much class" they also have a/c for the visitor coachs's box. I could be wrong,.... but I haven't seen another around.

Now you see why this is not just a game... It's everything in the seq valley to some people.. Great grandparents of some current players played each other and even great grandparents.. good luck to both teams..

Alright, week 0 is in the books so it is now officially game week! Time for this thread to crank up. All of the cliches can be used for this one.

When these 2 teams meet you can throw the records out the window.

With rivalry games you can never tell what is going to happen.

etc. etc. etc.

The fact is that if ... IF ... South Pittsburg can keep the mistakes to a minimum and IF South Pittsburg can get things rolling early they should win this game. But Marion seems to be much improved. If the Pirates let them hang around a little too long anything can happen. I do think that the Pirates get things going to open the season up on the right foot. The Pirates win this one.

This is one heated rivalry. After getting blown out the water last year (48-0) Marion county has a lot to prove. I just don't see them getting it done against SP
