You have got to remember that this was just like a good practice. Wartburg kept it VERY simple and Oakdale did the same. You weren’t going to see a great game, all this was to get kids some experience, and both teams are young. Give both teams a few years under these new coach’s and they will improve quite quickly .

 

 

 

I think the future is bright in Wartburg after watching the JV kids go at it. That is the same group that had success in the middle school the last couple of years. If they keep it together and keep their kids in the program, in a couple of years, they will be a force to contend with.

 

I think the Coach Bangley has done a good job of getting effort out of the kids. If they can get the mistakes fixed and get into a little better shape, ( they looked like they got tired) they will be alright.

I wish the team the best of luck. Keep working boys. I know a thing or two about that Freshman class and they are extremely competitive and so is the soph class. Stick with it guys!

Yeah I heard that many of the sophomores have stepped up and are starting on varsity. Its good to see young kids like this.

yeah but still 22 to 20 isn't good when it's a double A team playing a single A team
