Farragut was up 1-0 over CAK with 17 minutes left in first half. They had to switch the game from Farragut to CAK because of light problems (?).

We scored the first 3 in 9 minutes then really laid off. Actually pretty boring game. But good to be back watching soccer again.

CAK update: Farragut scored again to make it 2-0. When I was there in the first half, I was really impressed with CAK's possession and some of their attacks. We just couldn't get it on frame, or if we did, it went right to the keeper. We found ourselves getting in trouble when our defense would clear the ball, skipping our midfield, and sending it right to Farraguts defense, which allowed them to pound it right back down our throats again. Oerall I enjoyed watching CAK's style, and some of the younger girls did a great job when they got some time. Once they find their winning line up, I think they will do well. Farragut's keeper played really well, and didn't seem to get shaken. They also seemed to have a lot of speed on their outside right midfielder. Fun game to watch. Wish I could have stayed for more. As far as I know 2-0 was the final (please correct me if I am wrong)

These two teams advanced to the state tourney two years ago. Madison played without 4 starters today. One of the most physical games I have ever seen. Great effort by both teams.
