Southside is not as good as their record. They stole the win from JCM and have not played anybody else. I predict the Saders by 21. I saw the Liberty team mature in the second half of the Henry County game. I can see them winning the next three games against SS, JCM and Lexington to get back to .500 ball.

 

 

 

Liberty by 21? Oh, that is rich. ROTFLMAO Please, don't leave school early to try a career picking the spreads in Vegas. Liberty by 21? If I had a farm, I'd take that bet!

 

Memo to Hookfin: If you are going to run a spread offense, shouldn't you at least be able to throw the football a little?

I think Liberty will play the Hawks close, i'm not saying there is going be an upset but it could happen. Liberty has played so tough teams and showed a few bright spots. If Liberty could hold on to the ball and stop teams on 3rd and long they wouldn't look to bad.

SS hasn't played a winning team yet, every team Liberty has played is undefeated so i expect a good game.

Ok Jackson SS is alittle overrated. Top 5 in statewide 3a poll #3 in the state. They have a great team but not top 3 in the state. With that said they will not be upset by a down liberty team. It won't be 42-0, but they will take care of business at hame. It will be an ok game at first then SS will pull away in the sec. half. Jackson SS 28 Liberty 14 Go Hawks! Liberty 21 points win lol they can't even score 21 in a game

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
