When was the last time either of these two teams had a chance to lock up a playoff berth without having played Cumberland County yet? It's Monday and already 5 pages about this game. I really hope it lives up to expectations , maybe WSMV can fly over and do a TV spot. Just from being at the middle school games between these two last year this could really get good for the next couple of years.

With or without Langford Cookeville is still a very good team. I believe Warren Co. will struggle with Cookeville, but that game is quite a ways away. I am chomping at the bit to see this Warren Co. team go up against Coffee Co. It ought to be a great game and who knows maybe it will be played closer than we think, but you have to remember Coffee Co. knows how to score and when they get in the rythym and don't turn the ball over then big things happen and just keep happening. I haven't seen Warren Co. play but if they're 4-0 then i believe that they also make big things happen. If Coffee Co. wins this game then i believe they could go on to win the region for the first time in who knows how long. I'm pulling for my boys GOOOOOOOOOOOO COFFEE CO.!!!!!!!

I have seen both these teams and my opinion is coffee county by at least 2 touch downs.Coffee county is to strong up front.

One thing that has always plagued Coffee County is games against teams they should beat on paper. They have always played well against teams that are similar in talent. They usually get thumped by teams with superior talent and can struggle against teams with less talent than them. Look at this year, best team thus far is Oakland and it was a pretty lopsided game until a couple of late scores. Tullahoma and Cookeville are very similar talent wise to Coffee County and both were close games. The Tullahoma game was until a couple of turnovers in the fourth quarter. Then on paper Coffee County should have thumped Shelbyville and go to overtime for the win. I expect this game to be a lot closer than most people believe. I think both teams will put points on the board. 42-31 Coffee County.

    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
    • I heard Alabama was at Antioch practice and Colorado has offered QB. Hoping the Bears have a great year.
