Centennial comes off a big win against Northeast, getting revenge for the homecoming fiasco a year ago. It was the one of the best all-around performances in recent memory for the Cougars. It was also a career day for Chaz Scales. After missing the Siegel game, Chaz gave the Cougars a little extra boost in energy, throwing for 2 touchdowns, running for another, and coming up with 3 picks.

On the opposite end, Glencliff is coming off a 38-0 loss against Gallatin. Their offense is 2nd to last in total yards and their defense has problems giving up huge plays.

Can the Cougars make it 2 big wins in a row?

of course, they'll make it another WIN! if they don't they'd better just pack up and go home for good! Glencliff is worse than NE - so with that in mind they will win this one for sure - Chaz is a force to be dealt with, that's for sure!

Gameday. Here's my final take.

Talking to some people yesterday, Centennial looks the best it has been so far this year. They're continuing to work on fixing their mistakes and playing smart football. After seeing the performance against Northeast last week, I gotta believe that CHS will dominate this one as well. Glencliff will come into this game with the second-worst total offense in 5A and a defense that has allowed 35 points or more in three of its four games this season. This explosive Cougars offense will run over Glencliff all day and will win big.

Centennial in a blowout.

FINAL SCORE

CENTENNIAL 39

GLENCLIFF 30

Centennial's Offense was on fire! They were so dominant, they even scored 16 points for Glencliff!

....Let's go with that....

Well it was true, Centennial's offense was the key factor in this game. In a both positive and negative ways. They once again picked up 400+ plus yards of offense, but lost 4 fumbles, two of those were recovered for touchdowns. They also fell victim to a safety late in the third.

Glencliff's offense didn't look much better. They did pick up 268 yards, but gave up 8 turnovers. I wasn't at the game so I don't know specifics. But overall, it sounds like both teams played very sloppy ball. This will need to improve as the season goes on. Centennial (3-2) has Dickson Co. next week for homecoming. While Glencliff (1-4) plays host to Hendersonville.

how do you know they had that much yardage when the paper didn't even have the stats? Are you downing Centennial's offense by saying Glencliff didn't look much better?!# At least they won and yeah, it was sloppy! They have a shot at beating Dickson County if they can stop making stupid mistakes!
