Way to go NS. This is the best rivalry in Jackson and anything can happen when these two teams get together.

I don't know who the best team in Jackson is, you can count out the private schools for them not playing any of the public schools. You see what a Jackson public school did last year to a state champion team in the peewee region.

Almost enough to make you forget about the drumming South Side took the year before. . .

USJ has played both North Side and South Side and beaten them, same with JCS. Tell me, what region is better? 8-2A, 6-3A, or 7-4A? Looks to me like the private schools are the ones playing quality competition.

gohawks,

Why do you say that it is the private schools in Jackson not scheduling the local private schools? Perhaps it is the local publics who are not scheduling the private schools this season. While SS did beat JCS last season, I seem to recall JCS defeating SS the year before that. So much for your "peewee region" theory. I can also recall USJ playing and defeating public schools in Jackson while they were a member of the "peewee region". Another member of the "peewee region", TCA, has played and defeated public schools around Madison County as well. I would knock off the anti private talk if I were you. Your Liberty Crusaders are not exactly tearing things up this season.

North Side had a huge victory on Friday and I say that it was a job well done by the Indians players and coaching staff.

Good job Norh side. The score should have been 42-7. I've said all year the Hawks are overrated. The 5-0 start was against teams with a 5-15 overall rec. They have a good offense when starting qb is playing but the defense is weak. They can't tackle, stop the run or pass. They play like that and fware, bolivar, and crockett co. will all beat them. then loss in the first round of playoffs. I hope they can shape up. Go Hawks!

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
