Bulldog- The venue will be interesting. The advantage goes to Ensworth. Their kids have adapted to their surroundings. The glow of lights from the neighboring Bellevue baseball fields and Harpeth Valley Driving Range makes the opposing team feel as if they're in Alaska during the middle of the night. The Irish may get disheveled and their bodies may shut down. There will be a lot of involuntary yawning during the game. Hard to communicate when you're gathering Oxygen for a good nights sleep.

The second point is that the Mighty Harpeth is at Rio Grande water levels. The dust and soote can coat the lungs if you're not used to it but the Irish and their faithfull should be well hydrated by game time.

The west side Catholics from St. Matthews (congrats to their cross-country team) and St. Henry's welcome the entire Parochial League to visit our side of town and cheer on the Irish.

Ensworth school is worth the trip just to tour the campus.

 

FRHS has played several games on the infield at Greer. Don't think the dust from the Harpeth or any surrounding lights will be a detriment for Ryan.

Should be a good game but I am going with Ryan.

ummm yeah....back to the point of the game. Everyone underestimated ensworths size for both their o and d line, but they are fast, we didnt see it coming in week 6

Ensworth's d-line played well against MBA, however Preston Bailey did not play which would have helped MBA alot. I think Ensworth's speed and experience they had against MBA will help them pull this one out.

EHS is may have a slightly unwieghted o-line but not really and most of them are jacked and fast not overweight and slow

Oh, Ryan has speed. And they have speed on defense which stops the run. Most of the scores put on the Irish this year have been through the air. If Ensworth is gonna plan on running to win the game, they are going down like the Titanic.

 

Oh, Ensworth has strength. And there line and backs have proven that they use every bit of strength for an effective running game to go with their speed. Almost all the scores made by Ensworth have been distributed between Ensworth's talented backs, making a very spicy vairety of ways to score. If Ryan thinks they can out-man Ensworth, they are going down like the Titanic.
