Camden with the mercy rule in effect for the second half. Hopefully our walking wounded will get some time to heal after an extremely brutal first half of the season. Trenton, Milan, Westview and Huntingdon. Ouch.

Get the JV ready for early play in the first half. The mercy rule goes in to effect early second quarter. Camden is too big,too fast and too talented for their overmatched opponents in this one.

I agree still gonna go show support for the Lions. Houston has yet to beat us so this should be a game for the wounded to be able to heal. and for our JV to get some playing time.

Camden is already leading 14 to 0 and it hasn't started yet.

 

I doubt anyone from HC will get on this post and talk smack with you no matter how fun that sounds.

As sad as it is to say I believe Camden could spot HC 21 points and still have the mercy rule in effect by halftime...talked to a bunch of Houston Countians and they agree with me. Until they have a change in the coaching dept. things look grim for the Irish for years to come. Hopefully the youngsters will get plenty of playing time, and our walking wounded will get a week of healing time. Maybe this game will be serious-injury free unlike the last time the Lions visited Erin...just doesn't seem right that either team should have to play a game like this and risk major injuries unnecessarily. But that's the way it is soooo....go get 'em Lions!

As a new Lions fan I have to say on paper this one should not be even close. But Lions please remember no game is ever won on paper. Come out strong and finish up the same way. Good luck from A'ville....

Its to bad that these two teams have to play at all. The Lions don't need to play any unnecessary games like this one and risk possible further injury. This game will be quickly out of hand and HC will not be able to do anything about it. The mercy rule come into effect rather fast in this one. Good Luck Lions. Hope for safe travel.
