And as far as winning out, just take it one game at a time like ksgovols said. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

The rest of the games are games you can win. My guess is all the people on here havent seen Harpeth play yet anyways. Especially that wuzmp63, he says this about Harpeth, because he has played against Fairview. Well watch both teams before you talk about it, because your opinion is sort of irrelevant. But everybody is entitled to theres.

We'll see how irrelevant it is/was after you play Fairview. They gave up 7 points to Lewis in the first half, and only 19 in the game. You gave up 28 in the first half. I think their defense is gonna rough you up and your defense is suspect, so I see them scoring a bit. They are better than East. Ah you'll have to see for yourself.

I understand what you are saying, but EVERYONE pay attention..... Harpeth WILL win out their remaing games. I believe it and the rest of the team believes it. If we didn't then why would we play the game? We are better than all the teams left on our schedual and we WILL beat them. East falcons, eagles or whatever they are have ZERO chance to play with us. Fairview is 1-6..... Richiland is Richland and Sycamore is not close to as good as they have been in the past. For all those that don't believe just pay attention to the east score friday. We set the tone against a lesser oponent, then we roll. GO TRIBE!!!!!

HERE'S HARPETH'S PLAYOFF SCENARIO!!!!

-win the next three games and the Indians are the #3 seed from the region and an automatic playoff team

-win two of the next three games and the Indians are going to have a great shot at making the playoffs as one of the five "wild card" teams

-win one of the next three games IS THE EXACT SAME THING as losing all three games because that would kill the Indians playoff hopes

The Sycamore game on the road really carries no weight at all in Harpeth's playoff hopes. The sixth win would be great if Harpeth had to hope to get into the postseason as a "wild card" but right now this region stretch over the next three weeks is crucial. GOOD NEWS IS THAT THE HARPETH INDIANS WILL PLAY ALL THREE OF THOSE GAMES AT HOME ON THE RESERVATION!!!!!!

Hope you dont have to eat anymore crow. I will try and be at the next three games, but I am not sure. My fall break is next monday and tuesday, and I will give my two cents on the rest of the season friday night. Good Luck Indians, but be humble about what has happened for you all this season. You all are very lucky to be in this situation, not everybody even gets to have this chance.

That is a great attitude to have. Fairview will be your biggest test b/c they must win out to make the playoffs, and all 6 of those losses came to teams that poised to make playoff runs, with the exception of Page maybe.

Good luck to you, but I think you clueless about Fairview and will be until you play them.

/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> I think everyone is clueless about their opponent until they play them for the most part.

I like the enthusiasm Hindians13. There's a few things I like about this years team that should serve them well.

1. They score. The Indians haven't been shut out this season and with the exception of Lewis County, they've put points on the board early to put themselves in position to win. I think this season's point total thus far in the season surpassed any point total in the previous 3 years for the year. That's with 4 games left to play.

2. They have reduced the number of stupid penalties. The personal fouls, unsportsmanlike conducts and other drive killers that plagued them in the past. That's team discipline and accountability. They have improved vastly in that area.

3. They play alot of kids. Harpeth goes 2 deep in alot of areas. They've been able to get some second string guys and alot of younger guys in the game with the game on the line. This should bode them well down the road. Injuries haven't killed their chances of competing in the game.

4. They have a balanced offense. They can set up the pass with the run and vice versa. They aren't one dimensional by any means and they spread the ball around. There's typically 4 or 5 backs running the ball and 3 or 4 recievers catching it.

I don't know what will happen in the next 3 region games, but Harpeth is still in the playoff hunt after mid season. They've given themselves a chance. I like the in county rivalry with Sycamore coming after region play. It's a bowl game if they are out of it and a meaningful game if they're on the bubble for a playoff spot.

Either way, it's all in the Indians hands heading down the stretch run. They win out and they're in. They can lose one and still be in. Those are better odds than they've had of late.

I don't have a favorite and I'm not trying to take a shot at anyone. First of all, Harpeth has a chance! Just what my eyes have seen, Fairview played harder for 4 qrts. and had greater fan support (When the game started I counted 20 fans on Harpeth's side). I also believe one factor is that LC played better against Harpeth at home than against Fairview on the road (not to take anything away from FV). I also believe both teams are better than Richland, LC led Harpeth 34-0 at the half and Richland 34-0 at the beginning of the 2nd. This is exciting HS football and Good luck to all three teams and like they always say "anyone can beat anyone on any given night".

I would put my money on Richland or Harpeth making the playoff's before Fairview. I didn't even think anyone would even be talking about the playoff's in Fairview this year. I say the 3 teams in region 6 AA will be Lewis Co. on top just like always, then fallowed up by Hickman Co. being the 1st loser and I'll go with the upset I haven't heard of Richland making the playoff's in years so I am gonna go with Richland in 3rd. Sorry for Fairview, East, and Loretto. I think Fairview will be loretto's only win.

Richland went to the second round of the playoffs just two years ago. They went to the postseason as a #4 seed and upset East Robertson in the opening round. In the second round they dropped a heartbreaker against Camden.
