I'll quibble with you on that one. A team from Bristol had the number one ranking in the nation in the early '70's. I suspect one of the east Tn. folks could say for sure...I'm assuming Tennessee High, but I don't know a lot about that neighborhood.

Not that I'm aware of, but I couldn't say for certain.

 

I have an old bookmark on my computer for a site that lists mythical football champs. This link includes Tennessee ('72) and Baylor ('73) but not the '58 Oak Ridge team, although I'm pretty sure some service tabbed ORHS in '58.
