Govolsknox
He is right. Alcoa dropped Fulton. That was not something that was a secret either. Everyone new that Alcoa dropped Fulton. That was a great game last year! The only time I pulled for Alcoa last year was against Fulton and Maryville....Wait a minute, those were losses... Wish there was an Alcoa William Blount game! I do SEE! I know for a FACT Fulton tried to play Alcoa this year. They said no. Fulton had to pick up OakRidge. Get your FACTS in order. SEE!!!! Ripper That didn't work out that great for Fulton. Rankinated2010
Ok well arguing aside , i still think your point was pointless , i mean , if u r saying Alcoa is scared , or afriad to play another team then you are truly insane , it could have been for a 1,000,000 other reasons
Govolsknox
Seriously, can someone tell me what happened in the Maryville Alcoa game? I saw both of them scrimmagae Oak Ridge in the preseason and I thought Alcoa would hang with Maryville this year. Was the game as one sided as it looked by the score? alcoafan72
Yes that is extremely interesting. I saw something about it on the front page of the USA Today. Can't believe it took this long for this to get its own thread. huh?
ruse?
Alcoa has impressive #s. Alcoa did drop Fulton. Alcoa did not drop Fulton becuse of any "fear" factor. Alcoa plays CAK tonight, and Alcoa's #'s should become a bit more impressive. Si. ruse?
Rankinated2010
OK , sorry for ebing defensive , but why woudl you come on a thread like thsi , about Stats , and make two random Post that say Futlon beat alcoa last year Alcoa wouldnt play fulton this year ????? Those are both totally irrelevant

Those are both totally irrelevant Rankinated2010. I have all the respect in the world for the Alcoa football program, as well as an equal amount of repect for Coach Rankin. In fact, I would say that the Alcoa/Fulton game of 06 was probably the best game I saw last yr. Great players on both sides. Rogan, Shiverdecker, Freeney, Lanxter, Hicks, Gildner, Hammilton, etc. Having said all that, Alcoa plays CAK tonight. CAK will be hard pressed to deal with the multidimesional Cobb, Hodge, Thompson, etc. On the other hand, CAK could present some problems for such a young (very talented) defense. Focus on the task at hand. Stomp a hole in CAK, win out, advance through the playoffs, get the gold ball......and then reflect on the stats of satisfaction. ruse?
