This post may win you the Mo-Ron of the year award!

Chris Sensabaugh is just a freshman so of course he has a long way to go to get better. The bad news for the competition is that he is already playing like a senior. If you don't think he is tough enough at this point go ask the entire Sevier County defense what they think. He carried the ball 24 times and midway thru the 4th. qtr. was still running as hard as he did when he came into the game. 194yrds. and 4 touchdowns playing against a senior defense. I would hate to see it if he gets any tougher. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Go ask the Boone 9th Grade. They sent him to the locker room at halftime CRYING and holding his shoulder. He came back in the 4th and they sent him off the field again. He is good but he is not great right now. I know the safety for Boone's 9th grade lit him up about 4 times that night. Don't make him out to be something he is not. He quit on his team that night.

WOW!! Do you all have bad blood or something? Thats a little harsh to be talking about a FRESHMAN in HIGHSCHOOL. You must have something against him. That post was completely uncalled for.

Sorry to talk about your son that way. Again, he is a great player but he is not a heisman trophy winner. We need to stop making these kids out to be something they are not. He is a 15 year old kid who has been given great ability. He has a long way to go to get to where he needs to be.

He is not my son. And your not sorry for talking about him that way either. Nobody has said anything about him winning the heisman trophy. Nobody has built him up to be anything more that what he is. Whoever started this thread was unfair to be compairing him to a great Senior running back at Farragut. Chris Sensabaugh is a FRESHMAN. He is a great freshman running back playing on varsity. At this point I would consider him to be the best freshman player in East Tn. He is 15yrs. old, not 16, 17, 18, not 20 yrs. old. I will tell you if I think he is the best freshman player in the state after the last game is played this year. He has had rushing totals of 154 & 196 yrds. with 7 touchdowns in the only 2 games he has played on varsity. Not counting the one game he only got a couple carries in the final minutes. That is very impressive for a freshman playing on varsity. I don't think at this point any of us Dobyns Bennett fans give a flying flip what some freek from Daniel Boone thinks about Chris. We know him, you don't know him. We will support him. He will be leading the Tribe for 3 more years and you will be trying to figure out how to beat Volunteer. You are a loser and you will always be a loser.

And another thing.................If I wanted to find out how "tuff" Chris Sensabaugh is why would I go ask the Daniel Boone freshman team ? How stupid.

If I needed a second opinion (I Don't) I would ask the Sevier County Varsity players right after Sensabaugh ran "thru", over and around their defense for 4 tds. and 194yrds. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

What do you have to say to that up there ^. WaCo made his point. Wait until Sensabaugh is in his senior year and then we will compare his stats to Sterlings this year and we will see who is better. My money in on Chris

all i can say is that from playing against andre last year and watching him this year there is no way any freshman in this country is better than him. in my opinion he is the best runnin back in east tn since gerald riggs. the only factor that limits this kid from being an all american is his speed. he is not nearly fast enough to become a dominant factor at a major d-1 college but he could easily star in a system like utc or ut-martin. unless this sensabaugh kid can run through, over, and around defenses single handedly like ive seen andre do then this post is ludicrous.

by the way is played against him since my freshman year at mcminn co.

    • Eagleville hosting shows laziness on the part of the TSSAA and a complete disregard for the appearance of impartiality. Absolutely nothing against EHS. Its not their fault TSSAA is lazy.    I understand EHS staff work the games at Eagleville, and they don’t want to miss the EHS games. However this isn’t rocket science. It would take less than 1 hour to cross-train EHS and RHS volunteers at the opposite sites. If Eagleville (or any host)  makes the tournament, flip their game site and have the volunteers flip sites for the days their school plays at the opposite site. Magically the school’s fans would be present to watch the their kids play and the kids at least lose some familiarity and home field advantage.  It takes almost no effort and is a ~15 minute extra drive.
    • We feel the pain!
    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
