my opinion is that North jackson has players from bridgeport stevenson and scottsboro...so if South Pittsburg had Jasper combined with them this game wouldnt even be close sp players have played the nj players all there life and sp was always the winner so do the math sp would dominate North Jackson

Old Pirate says "ALLRIGHT", here is a youngon who has made a post that all level headed folks should agree with.

OP says SP has dominated "all" Ala teams it has played thru the years. OP is a war eagle fan but is not confused enough to say Ala is all that. Heck, if that were true Bama would only need to recruit locals.

OP says "IF" SP,Jasper were combined, OH......... wait........ that's very painful............... they would be just fine, and would take NJ behind the wood shed. Perhaps some old warrior could give his take on this. OP would say, jasper was the dominate team when they played Bridgeport,Stevenson AND yes THE GREAT NORTH JACKSON. NJ has never beaten a team in Tenn as far as OP can remember. OP says "come get some".

OP says Ala fans are similar to the TT fans, denial is just part of their confused minds.

Heck while we're on here why don't someone try to get us a game with Maryville!! We are the tenth smallest school in single A by the last TSSAA enrollment. North Jackson is good very good but we would hang with them. I go to church with a whole lot of their players and families. Red Bank, come on give SP a break. We could play with some teams every now and then, but not every year. I guess because these sorry 1A and 2A teams cant get the job done around here we might as well put ourselves in the frying pan and play these bigger schools. Bring on the Patriots while your at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old Pirate says that's pretty good stuff there old indian. OP would like to know how they determine this.

Regardless SP hangs even here. That is a getting respect for a small........ school playing the big boys.

Here were their projections through the weeks, they were pretty accurate except on the Boyd-Buchanan score and a lot of that probably had to do with Boyd's strength of schedule. Not sure how accurate they could ever be with teams from different states but it's a lot of interesting reading.

South Pittsburg (TN) 25 Tyner Academy (Chattanooga, TN) 21 [projection]

South Pittsburg (TN) 47 Marion County (Jasper, TN) 19 [projection]

South Pittsburg (TN) 53 Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN) 0 [projection]

South Pittsburg (TN) 41 Lookout Valley (Chattanooga, TN) 6 [projection]

South Pittsburg (TN) 49 Brainerd Christian (Chattanooga, TN) 0 [projection]

South Pittsburg (TN) 56 Whitwell (TN) 7 [projection]

South Pittsburg (TN) 47 Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN) 7 [projection]

I have never heard of this thing, but was real close on most predictions. Gambler's private board,no doubt.

I know that had to hurt OP. You have some great insight and SP would beat most schools in the No. Ala. area. NJ would be a great game. I talked with coach Ditka and we did some research and it would be rather easy for NJ to get some of the teams from Tenn. Congrats to the pirates, the SP program has a great football tradition and has earned the respect of most football minded fans. Coach Ditka and I think the privates should be put in their own classification as well.
