CENTENNIAL vs. BRENTWOOD

CHS 2007

Three games left in the season, and It's utter chaos in Region 6-5A. With fours teams tied atop the region and one more lurking right behind, these last few weeks are sure to give us some excitement. This Friday, Brentwood takes their share of the lead into Centennial, where the Cougars have some to prove.

CHS,

Did you organize a poll voting campaign for your Cougars? They actually got 16 votes in the Coacht 5A poll. That really validates the poll. It is nothing more than a fan poll....lol.

Good post on the facts .. Brentwood takes this one easy.. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Brentwood should win, however Centennial is still a dangerous team with the speed they have. If the center can snap the ball and they use Scales and Coffey right they could sneak up on a team. Centennial does have a problem stopping the run which plays into the Bruins' favor. You still have to play them. Good luck to both teams and hope everyone stays healthy.

stop fighting over somthing that doesnt even have anythign to to with teh topic of this discussion....thank you.....lets have a good game and injury free...

not fighting!

just questioning?

he got off topic anyway - as for the game, Brentwood can look for a good game - this CHS team is very unpredictable both positively and negatively! They have the speed and under Chaz they move the ball very well - Chase throws ok if he doesn't throw an interception - Brentwood's defense has proved time and time again they are to be reckoned with! either team could win this - it depends on who shows to play football - I, too, hope it's an injury free game!!!

How did I get off topic when I was answering someone else's question? And maybe I did pick Franklin, I dont really remember or care.

Someone mentioned the QB's for Centennial. I am really interested to see who they go with for this game. For the past few weeks, Chase has been getting the majority of the snaps. And nothing against him, because he has

played alot better this season compared to last, but I just think with the personel we have, that Chaz is a better choice for QB. He's got the speed and the arm to get out of the pocket and make plays out of nothing. Plus, his feet always keep the defense guesing, and that can open up alot of space out there. Again nothing against Chase, because he is a good QB as well. But for the system we run, I just think Chaz fits better.

I was the one that got CHS off topic. I forgot the law against getting off topic on this forum since it never happens. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Oh stupid me.

Picking Brentwood...they understand the art of defense.

Dog,

Gotta agree with you again. Centennials speed is scary, but Bwood's D should contain them. Bwood will also run the ball at the Cougar defense which they have had problems stopping. Don't get me wrong I would like to see the Cougars win, but not too confident they can. Here's hoping though.

    • Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.
    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
