Greeneville @ East

It will be more interesting to see if East can come from behind. Greeneville has outscored their opponents 183-110 and 145 of those have been in the 1st half...80% of their scoring in the first 2 quarters. Can East mount a comeback if they fall behind 3 or 4 TD's ?

I sure hope East is ready to take it to the Green Devils early on. This game means a

lot to East and it is time for the coach to pull out all stops. I think the head coach will

talk it over with his assistants if East is having problems moving the ball early in the

game.

We won't know until tomorrow night who has to try to catch up ---I am hoping that is

Greeneville. Go Canes.

By the way--Morristown and Greeneville have played each other in most years since

1925.

A good long tradition of competition, not only in FB but most other sports as well.

Greeneville and Morristown (which later became Morristown East) have met every year since 1924 with two exceptions: The series was interrupted by World War II in the mid 1940s, and again from 1993-1996 when Morristown East was breifly classified as a 5-A school.

GV does not usually beat east. Check the recent history. East will not bring 7 to the line, they will blitz. There is a difference. We have faced good running backs this year and Barner is no better than cobb from fulton, the kid from volunteer or Mcfall from JC. I am not saying that we will beat you but GV is not as dominant as some GHS fans let on.

Barner may be no better than the RBs from Fulton, Volunteer, and Jeff Co.

But didn't y'all lose all three of those games?

Due to no offense. We lost big against fulton and so would you. Our offense scored 7 points in those losses. I don't care how good your D is, 7 points in three games gets you beat. Other than cobb, we did a good job against those backs.

I haven't heard ......"We have had great practices this week(3 hours.didn't leave until offense scored) and East has a new identity on offense. This week we have been very focused. Look for Hatcher to change things up and move people around. Should come out with a win."

Just wondering where that was? Almost got it a few post back.

Sorry to dissapoint. They did have a good week and they have made changes just as they have evry week looking for answers. The team is young and is going to get better. It is so easy to talk trash on a message board isn't it. I mean you say whatever and there are no ramifications for saying it. Usually it is people like you whom don't play or never did that have the least amount of knowledge that talk the loudest.

I hope East keeps it simple on offense. We just need too be able to move the football enought for

our defense too get some rest. Our defense needs to cause some turnover,We will not win, without

some help from Greenville. If we fall behind more than a touchdown,we are in big trouble.

We are going to need a big play from our special teams.

Go Canes!

Just having some fun with you, don't get excited. You have to see the humor in it. You will find in my post I know why East is not having the year expected.

Lighten up, alittle.

I think east must play an a+ game and get some help to win tonight. The good news is that we return so many guys for next year. On D we will lose 3 linemen but bring back 2 that are getting multiple reps and 1 DB. We lose the FB,WR and 2 o linemen but there have been alot of guys get reps at those positions as well. The one guy that we loose that will be hard to replace is our FB johnny Hodge.
