Good lineup set for this Friday.

Ravenwood at Centennial

Independence at Hillwood

Hillsboro at Overton

Franklin at Brentwood.

Ravenwood/Centennial should be the top game this weekend. The Cougars took down the Raptors in overtime during the last contest, a game that did not feature Drew Kelly. Maybe we can finally settle the whole Morrris vs. Kelly debate this time.

Results from tonight.

Centennial 52, Ravenwood 49: Drew Kelly had 23 points and held Morris to 12 in what was supposedly a pretty heated game. The Cougars remain hot, winning 12 of their last 13.

Franklin 61, Brentwood 45: Kegarise had 14 and Starnes and Young added 10 each for the Rebels. With this win, the Rebels clinch the #1 seed in the district.

Hillsboro 57, Overton 54: Jamal Bertrand led all scorers with 11 for the Burros. Betts, Moore, and Slagle each had 10 for Overton

Hillwood 48, Independence 40: Marshall and Watson each tallied double figures for the Toppers. Blake Carden led Indy with 10 points. The downward spiral continues for Indy.

The Franklin Rebels used a three point barage in the second quarter last night to once again knock off the cross town rival Brentwood. Junior Kevin Kegarise hit 4 more tri-fectas and Franklin rolled to it's 50th strait district 11-AAA contest. I doubt this streak will ever be matched! Junior PG Michael Young ran the show and netted 10. Jamaul Starnes added 10 as well, while Daniel Miller-McLemore chipped in 9. Reeed Glover owned the glass and Peyton Henry played solid all night. All Franklin players mentioned are juniors. Eric Brown played lock down "D" and senior Travis Hampton hit a dagger three late in the second quarter.

Question: Is the rest of the district tired of being owned by the Rebels for 3 1/2 years?

I thought this was a rebuilding year for Franklin?

Not a bad rebuilding year for Jay Johnson and staff!

Congrats to the players, another district title and 50 strait wins, pretty solid accomplishments!
