Tall order for the Wildcats...

 

But they didn't have a chance to win the state a couple of years ago as the #4 seed in the region either! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

It was 36-0 ..the only thing that saved then from getting it worse was the mercy rule that ran the whole 3rd and 4th qtrs ..clock doesnt stop at all .. only if you take a timeout ... I really hate that rule ... young kids that have practiced hard all year do not get a chance to play .... It needs to be 45 points instead of 35 .... 3rd Qtr .. Fulton scored early to make it 36-0 ..and then the clock ran ... LA got a couple first downs and 3rd qtr was over ... same with the 4th qtr ... also I heard from a reliable source on the LA sidelines that it was the worst attitudes from Coaches and Players from another school they had seen and this person is on the visitor sideline every home game ..also that befor halftime some LA players were talking about taking a kneecap out of one certain Fulton player and then later in the game at the end ... players on the field said that LA players were heard plotting a team fight to end the game since their season was over... Thanks goodness it didnt happen .. but there were some late shots taken and Fulton got some of them too in retaliation ... wasnt a very clean game by any means ..just glad some kid from either team didnt get a knee hurt or something ....

      I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

      Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co. My dark horse candidate

      The baseball field is the baseball field. There are no clear favorites. It is a central location so that is why it is the site. This gets talked about every year and it is always the same answer.
