Congrats to Wilson Central! Hope you guys keep doing well and can take it all the way!

In all honesty, this was a game I dreaded seeing our guys play. Riverdale is tough and it's really hard to play the same team twice in 4 weeks...it's also hard for you to beat a team twice in a row.

Great season Riverdale -- it was fun.

Congrats to the RIVERDALE WARRIORS on another region championship and another playoff appearance! You seniors have busted your butts and made all of us in Warrior country very proud! Sorry it had to end this way but that is the way sports go sometime! Good luck to all the seniors and their futures and for the under classmen work hard and stay hungry and give it another shot next year! Thankyou I have really enjoyed you guys! GO WARRIORS!

Thats one thing I have always loved about the coaching at Riverdale they have always taught these young men to win with class and to lose with class! Hope WC goes all the way in the playoffs! GET SMYRNA!

Who predicted Riverdale would lose? I DID! I DID!

But man what a whooping!!! OMG I don't know what's better: Riverdale losing or Smyrna winning! I said the best team never wins and guess what? I WAS RIGHT!!! And I think Riverdale will get knocked out in the first round next year. 5th round, 4th round, 3rd round, 2nd round knockouts the last 4 years and they're only getting worse. WOOT GO SMYRNA!!!

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
