It doesn't sound like Riverdale fans are being cocky, they all congratulate WC on the hard fought win. A truly cocky and arrogant fan would be making excuses for why they got beat. These posters seem to have a great deal of respect for WC and I don't see any cockiness anywhere.

Riverdale faught untill the very last seconds....what a great team Riverdale has! RDale fans are far from cocky, they are very classy fans. Good luck to you guys next year!

 

DUB-C what a EXCELLENT game you played we looked like a championship bound team tonight!! Keep it up guys!!

Now its on to Smyrna.

REGION 4 FOOTBALL...wow.

 

hate it to see these fellas lose in this fashion again. we ended WCs undefeated streak this year, they ended ours, but unfortunately for us, they did it at the more timely manner.

 

i can tell you one things for sure, we are PROUD of our seniors...been a heck of a ride fellas. believe it or not, this aint the first riverdale team thats lost in the playoffs, it happens. its not about what riverdale did in 1994, none of that, its about the 11 wins you guys accomplished, the streaks you continued, being a top team in the STATE. dont hang your heads, cause if you do thats just another victory for every person across the state that despises us.

 

it sure is shaping up like this might just be WCs year...i can tell you those boys are more than deserving. they have my respect /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

 

one thing is for sure, somewhere in smyrna, they are partying like the '72 Dolphins /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

...that sounds pretty cocky to me. They "thought" no one could play with them. Maybe they didn't feel challenged and thought they would "play down" to the competition again. Smyrna better hope they don't celebrate too long, because they have got one heck of a team next week. Anyone that can beat Riverdale in a playoff game has a great team. Good luck WC in your playoff run.

I get home expecting to see the game on the news or atleast the highlights (even though i attended)...NOTHING.... Not even a mention about the game. Maybe WC will get more than a paragraph in the paper this week, the team sure does deserve it!! I believe RD had one turnover and WC had one. Riverdale scored in the last minute to make it 13 points.

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.

      Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.

      Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
