What Does a Region Championship, a good defense, and a seceond chance at the third best team in the region who is too cocky and is a one and a half player team (that other half being #3) AND are not that good OR disciplined equal...

SC 35

PC 14

If Pearl-Cohn is a one and a half player team, what does that say about the 'mighty Bison' who lost 20 to 3 to Pearl-Cohn in week ten? Could it be by playing your powder puff schedule, outside of the region teams, that you are mislead into believing you are a proven team? Do tell............ /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

You keep going on and on about being region champs. You had to pray that White House beat Greenbrier so you could "back" your way into being region champs!!!!!! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Remember that although last year you did "win" the Region title you did "back" into it yourselves last year from your White House loss. So I guess what is good for the "Fried Bird" is good for the Bison! Like I said, we did not bring our "A" Game and if your Offense is sooooo good you only won by 17. WOW WHAT A OFFENSE! IS that all you can put up! With an SEC QB you think you could put up at least 40 a game! OH thats right you have young recievers who are average. We can at least do that (See last week for starts!). So our "powder puff schedule" vs. your "powder puff offense". We already know the outcome...

What Pearl-Cohn had to do last year was beat Station Camp to become region champs and that is exactly what happened. On a rainy Friday night in Gallatin, Station Camp had theirs handed to them, so go play with that!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Whose fault is it that Station Camp didn't bring "their A game?" /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Last week??? You are proud of scoring 51 points on the #4 team from a weaker region? Please!!! Sounds like you might get your kicks playing with a little something else. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

The only little thing we are going to play with is that wanna be team from "Da Hood" (that is you PC if you needed a clue!). You are to beat you opponents by a healthy margin! Your little 17 points will not be enough this time! It is going to be in and out for you at our place. SO just to remind you what you have comming to you FRIDAY..."Fried bird" served with a side of see you next year!

GO BISON!

PC may need to tighten their shoelaces. They may be feeling confident over keeping SC to a field goal in the last game, but IF they beat SC, they have to face either WH (who beat them) or Greenbrier (who was tied with them until the last 12 seconds). BUT, I don't think they'll get to either one of us, and SC beat us both, so there's a little sump'in to think about cause "payback" games are tough.....and they will be in Round 3, too. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

So true about the payback factor. The game should be very hard hitting. But the Bison will have to set up and play better than they did in week 10.

a powder puff schedule! are you kidding? HOnestly 5a Hendersonville, missed the playoffs by one game. 4a Beech made the playoffs. we are so much better than pearl cohn gives us credit for. by the way go look at teh 3a rankings. i think s.c. is fourth IN FRONT OF p.c.

They beat you 20-3, that would mean they own u until u beat them. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
