Who will be the next Soddy-Daisy coach?

Is their any chance they would try and bring back a Living Legend such as Bill Price? He built Soddy Daisy and really put them on the map when he was there.

I'm a little familiar with soddy through Glenn Ryan. We took over for him at Munford and took a 16-74 over the last 9 years and turned it into 15-8 in two with a region championship and a runner up. My question is the same when we looked at Munford what's wrong with it and what are you willing to do to fix it.

Everything is in place for success. Just need the right fit to turn this into a top notch program. Someone who is a motivator who can instill a desire to win in some really good kids. The school and community in Soddy deserve a top football program. I can tell you this..... Even when losing, the crowd is big and loud. These people are hungry for success.

I wouldn't think you would have to be connected. I believe they will give all candidates a fair shot. They need to definately get the best they can get. This community is ready for a winner.

Soddy-Daisy may lose some students when Signal Mt opens, some from Red Bank are supposed to go to Signal Mountain, some from Hixson to Red Bank and some from Soddy-Daisy to Hixson to fill up resulting empty desks. I don't know if that will affect the number of athletes in the school or not.

Is Scott Smith still there? David Barger at Central would be a good choice in they want to stay within the county? Red Bank has some good assistants too? John Allen at Silverdale? Also, if they are pulling students from Hixson to elsewhere without replacing them they may be 3A next time around??

I think Scotty Smith left SD. Maybe went to Walker Valley? Does Barger have ties to SD? Why would John Allen leave the small private school to come to SD?
