this is classic example of how pc always blame the refs.I didn't see game but was told LA would have won by 40 if pc hadn't got the calls,and the attitude of the players and coaches normally would have gotten at least 3 t's. LA is a lot better than PC.

 

If you were not there how can you know what happened and how the game was called just by hearsay.LA has a very good team with a deep bench,they out played PC the second half.Pickett boys have got to learn to score and not depend on wright to do all the scoreing to me that is their biggest problem right now.Logan and Gibson need to shoot the ball more instead of passing it to Wright all the time and depend on him to score.It will take all five players to score.Not all the players and fans have attitudes they just want to have the game called right.It is know wonder there are so many kids getting hurt sometimes I think basketball is rougher than football at least you have some protection in football.

Amen, I love how these fans from jackson and clay co. get on here and try to use hearsay to talk about PC and PC's fans. The game was equally bad on both sides....thats funny about 40 pts, wouldn't happen. But LA was the better team on tuesday night no doubt about it, we had the 2nd best player on our team and in the district out, we had another player who couldn't play more than 2 mins at a time. But as far as Logan and Gibson, they do need to step up, Logan more so than gibson. Logan needs to be scoring atleast 15 a night, I think Gibson is doing all he can, 10 or 12 a night is all you can expect out of him.....lets face it until TC gets back Jacob is gonna need 30 a night for us to be in it, and he may even need that many when TC is back...Logan is chocking big time, he is definately better than in previous years, but he still needs to pull the trigger more. I feel like sometimes this team is looking for Jacob a little too much, if thats possible.

I look for them to advance to the tournament and make some noise, however I believe that the game would have been similiar in results with a "let him play" approach from the officials. TC might have helped some, but don't see this game being any different later on.

PC isnt all you guys say they are. there are like 2 stop signs and no taco bells or even a hardees there. and with a population like that finding "super star" player or players are hard. they are mostly role players with one decent guy.

2 State titles and 1 runner-up with multiple state tournament appearances, and with 3 Mr. Basketball winners.....Your right, they are not what folks at PC say they are.. I guess CSAS has it all, especially the state titles../dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

This is almost unheard of in a school this small so they must be doing something right---not to mention the 4(or is it 5) girls titles!! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> How did we do today BigDaddy? I can't get a score anywhere!

LA did very much so out play us Tuesday night. Congrats to them. Just to let Melton07 know, you're a joke. If I was you I would try to hide my bios alittle more. "Melton" in Melton07 is no gimee for who your for. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Brent always does this in the begining of the season. He is pretty quite in the beggining but he really does step it up as the season goes on. Gibson is trying his best but he's only going to get 12 a game. PC will be fine when they get healthy. And congrats to BigDaddy and OleCatFan and their Wildcats on their victory against Independence. And to senator, Dream on Bud!

Do not take what this "hater" as a CSAS fan.....he is not! He is just a "hater"!!! I am a CSAS fan and I respect the long tradition of excellence that Pickett County basketball has established. The players and coaches at Pickett work hard just like the ones at CSAS, but yes, Pickett has enjoyed more success. CSAS has had the misfortune of moving up in classiciation a couple of times when they might have won a single A title or two ('98 being one for sure). I think the true Pickett and CSAS fans have a genuine respect for each other and their programs.

      Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.

      Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.

      I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
