I have played every position at one time or another, and they all are hard in their own ways. Pitchers tend to practice more than other positions, but that doesn't make it harder. Catchers and 3rd basemen are usually physically the tuffest players, just because you have to be either tuff or stupid to play those positions. Middle infielders are your quick thinkers who pick up things fast. And outfielders have the instincts and abibilty to see where the ball is gonna be hit before it is even thrown.

 

No position is easy, and I don't think there is a "hardest" position, it all depends on what type of player you are. Outfielders usually aren't made to pitch and pitchers aren't made to play outfield. Takes a team to get the job done.
