Just got home from the game and CSAS totally DOMINATED this game from start to finish. Jurick was a "no show"....scored four points total..all in the third quarter. Played like he didn't care.

Your last couple of sentences were removed. High profile players like this will always be under the microscope but that was a little too much.

The East Ridge Pioneers lost to CSAS 71-25 or so. Jurick has little help and is going to be double and triple teamed all season.

Forget East Ridge and Jurick! CSAS played ZONE, no one double or triple teamed Jurick or anyone else. This was all about the Patriots. Threes were coming down from everywhere and the full court defensive intensity was tremendous! The Pioneers should be glad that the coaches "called off the dogs" half way through the second quarter!

I honestly feel he won't see a minutes playing time at Tennessee. He has treamendous ability. I have seen him play a dozen times. I believe at times he seems to not care, but i believe it could be his personality makes it seem as if he doesn't when that may not be the case. I hope I am wrong, it would be great to see an East Ridge player contributing at Tennessee.

No knock on Jurick's current coaches, but he'll get much better coaching at TN. I hope he does well too, and I think he will.

jurick won't last at ut. his attitude is terrible and he never seems to want to play at all. i would've bench him as soon as he started to not play.

yeah i agree.

hes going to have a rough time with bruce pearl if he cant get some work ethic and a better attitude.

bruce pearl wont take that...

not to mention he has to become academically eligible in order to even play for UTK.

but if he can do what he says in the article in the paper in Chattanooga and focus on his school work, he could shape up...we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

    • so the players dad who is a recruiter is now at Oakland?
    • We are optimistic because we will have another great season. You should keep your opinions on your Forrest Rocket board. These kiddos at Marion have had an amazing off season. They are working hard and it is showing. Coach TStark is getting these kids scholarships to get their college for free. Also Coach Harm is back so this is another awesome thing for our kiddos. Forrest will get theirs when they come to Bill Baxter Stadium this season. My main men Sam, Tay and Tilton are going to do amazing things this season. You should just watch and see what these kiddos are capable of doing. The Marion County Warriors are a force to be reckoned with again this year. East Robertson will be a good team again but that is the only big challenge this team will have again. If we can beat East Robertson like I know we can then we will go to the state championship and win the game. As always it is a great day to be a warrior. Go Warriors! We are Marion!
    • The player is only able to go because of the coach who is his dad. The dad is a recruiter not a good coach. HC blamed him for losing the Clinton game in the playoffs.
