District and Region Results

Our District tournament doesn't start until the second week of January, Regionals and Sectionals the following week.

 

I may be misunderstanding what you're looking for.

There are several district tournaments getting started, and then their ind. averages for reg. season can be turned in. Our district(5 and 6)startss in Jan. because of scheduling problems with different schools. The averages for individuals are due by Jan.9. Districts must be completed by Jan. 11 and Regions by Jan.17 and Girls sectionals are Jan.19 and Boys are Jan. 21.

If I understand correctly, some Districts are starting their district tournaments in December? When are their Regions? It seems like everyone should have their tournaments at the same times. If the District tournaments are at different times, doesn't that skew your individual averages due to the fact that, some districts like 5 & 6, keep bowling through December? For those starting their Districts, do they wait almost a month before their Regions? Like I said, it seems like everyone should have their tournaments at the same time, just like all other sports.sports.

We start our districts this week before Christmas break. I wish we did them in january but thats when our regions our im pretty sure.

Are you guys still in school the week before Christmas? If not, can you have athletic events while not in school? Hamilton County schools get out December 18 and don't return until January 7.

 

All I'm saying is that it is kind of odd that all of the District tournaments aren't going on at the same time.

AS soon as team starts district tournament their reg. season ends. They are not suppose to compete in any matches ,they are only allowed to practice.

Hey guys just a clarification here...the individual averages should not include district play...according to TSSAA guidelines the individual averages are computed from the first contest to the day BEFORE the district tournament starts...hope this helps...good luck to all! Go Bulldogs!

BOYS: Greeneville defeated Dobyns Bennett 16-11

 

GIRLS: Dobyns Bennett defeated Greeneville 14-13. Both teams tied in total pins.

Columbia Central took district titles on both the Guy/Girls sides today. Finishing Runner up was Spring Hill on both sides.

 

Congratulations to Lawrence County, Marshall County, CA, and Sante Fe on your seasons and congratulations to Spring Hill on the two runner-up finishes with excellent bowling on both sides.
