Pray for Grundy's coach

Please pray for Grundy's coach, Kasey Woodlee. As she was driving to the Upperman game on Saturday she blacked out and had a stroke. They do not know how severe it is as of now. She will be going to the Dr. this evening to see what all it has damaged. Her speech is the only thing I can tell that is effected. Let's please pray for her. She is so young and you hate to see this happen to anyone. God will not give us anything we can not handle, but she is having it hard now. She needs everyones prayers.

I hope that Coach Woodlee is able to make a full recovery. It has been a year of tragedy for the Woodlee family and the Grundy community. If I am not mistaken, Coach Woodlee lost her grandfather last year in a automobile accident, and Grundy also lost Coach Pickett, their football coach, last Fall. I had the good fortune of working in Grundy several times over the past three years and actually met Coach Woodlee at the gym. She was very gracious and kind and will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Coach Woodlee lost her grandfather just 2 months ago. How fortunate that she had her stroke in a church parking lot. God will help pull her through...keep praying!

Just a suggestion try posting a certain time for all the sports fan that usually are on here and have a moment of prayer. Power of prayer is a wonderful thing. She should be proud to have a friend to request prayer for her in a world i feel sometimes is leaving God instead of looking to him! Many prayers have been said for Coach Woodlee today in Grundy, County and we are all hoping for the best. Kasey is at the specialist right now finding out what exactly happened and what the future holds for her. She is a strong girl, and a fighter, and if the team and community sticks together behind her, I'm sure they will pull her through. We love u, Kas!!!!!

I am praying for Kasey as are all the girls parents. Kasey is a wonderful girl and has a great family who will be there for her. I know that all the parents will be here to support her in anyway that we can. Much love from my family to hers.

That sounds like a great idea. Found out it was a mild stroke in left side of her brain. She will probably have to see a therapist for her speech. More tests will be performed all week. I am not sure I have ever heard Kasey down and out the way she is. She is weak right now and needs all of our prayers. All she told me on the phone was she knew her grandpa had to be with her for her to blackout in a church parking lot. Thank God for the couple that took Kasey to the hospital. I encourage all of her players if you get on here and read this to stand by your coach. She has stuck her neck out for you in so many ways. She did text and say that other schools players have contacted her and she was so happy to hear from them. That is a great gesture! There really are some wonderful people still left in this world:)

Just got through talking to Leon and everyone is pulling together but they all sound pretty rough.

 

I need some help from anyone at Upperman and I need it tonight or early in the morning. I didn't get to go to the game and they can't find the scorebook. I really need stats from the girls game. If anyone up there can give me the box score I'd be very greatful.

 

And to coachh17- Coach Woodlee's dad and Coach Pickett died on the same day in October. We've had a very hard year up here.

Coach Woodlee is a very nice young lady. I talked to her this summer at Shelbyville team camp. I am a stranger and she talk to me like we knew each other for years. God is watching over her. My prayer is that she will recover fast.
