maroonandgrey
I'm as big a DB fan as anyone but #5? Ahead of Farragut who beat them by 19 and Maryville who beat Farragut? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> Hmmm i'm not buying into it....yet
BoDawgs
There is no doubting the quality of all the teams in this poll. However, I seriously question its integrity in regards to AA. Marshall County has a great record, but a few sketchy wins (and a loss to good but not great Single A Culleoka - although I admit I have no idea how many Marshall players were playing football just a few days before), are they really the best AA team in Middle Tennessee as this poll suggests? Anyone heard of Sycamore ?(bad loss to Creekwood I admit). CPA and post football Whitehouse have been very good (I hate to give WH credit consideing all the hype they get on this site). Lipscomb has played a strong schedule and beat Station Camp. And does Mr. Jenkins really carry so much clout as to merit votes for his team. He is excellent and they are very good, but the case can solidly be made that they are the second best team in their district not the 3rd best team in Mid-state AA. Regardless Mid Tenn AA and Single A will again stuggle at the sub-state level and will be hard pressed to place team in the final 8 (there will be a couple, but the competition in the west is SO strong). Antioch not in the AAA top 10? Hmm... Fun to see Nashville Christian here, but are they made for the postseason? My point is these polls are great for debate, but speak very little to the depth and true quality of basketball throghout the state. That said its a better list than I could come up with myself. donathan5507
How does Centennial receive votes but Franklin does not? That makes a whole lot of sense.

WHITE HOUSE IS 8-4. 1ST LOSS THEY HAD 2 VARSITY PLAYERS THAT COME OFF THE BENCH. THE REST WERE PLAYING FOOTBALL. 2ND LOSS AGAINST A GOOD AAA BEECH TEAM. 3RD LOSS AGAINST DWAYNE WADES AL MA MATER IN AN ILLINOIS TOURNAMENT WHO HAD 3 D1 SIGNEES. 4TH LOSS AGAINST PEORIA WHO HAD A PLAYER THATS COMMITTED TO ILLINOIS. GAINES AND BARNES DIDNT PLAY IN THE 4TH QUARTER IN THAT GAME. CPA , SYCAMORE, LIVINGSTON ACADEMY, AND EVEN STATION CAMP ONCE THEY GET IT TOGETHER CAN COMPETE WITH ALL THOSE TEAMS IN THE AA TOP TEN. HOW CAN YOU SAY MID TENN AA WILL ONCE AGAIN STRUGGLE AT THE SECTIONAL LEVEL? LAST YEAR WHITE HOUSE AND GILES COUNTY BOTH WENT TO STATE. WHITE HOUSE IS STRONGER THIS YEAR THEN THEY WERE LAST YEAR , AND CPA , LIVINGSTON ACADEMY , AND SYCAMORE ALL ARE PLAYING GOOD BALL.

Aza9
How is Brainerd Ranked lower than A.E.? Wow no need for middle and west tn to even keep playing according to this list. They already have East Tn winning everything. Are we not sooooo glad that they don't know what they are talking about.

triplethreat_00
I could be wrong but has Antioch even lost to a team in TN yet? I know that one of their losses came to the number 2 team in the nation (a 10 point loss) and there other loss is to a team out of Georgia. They have crushed McGavok twice (a good team) and handled Hunters Lane. Antioch is definitely deserving of being in the top 10. Probably the top 3-5.
