/roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Truth be told, out of 82 Scholarship offers (music and academic NOT sports) my final 2 were UF and ...sigh...UT. So Im not one of those "vol hating" gators. well, except for that 1 week each fall!!

I am afraid to go to the bathroom by myself at JC. Some of those adults scare me, almost like they don't care if your a kid or not.

dont let those nasty ol JC fans bother you. They are loud, and obnoxious, and hard to tolerate sometimes /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> but they are good people. Very knowledgeable fans. Very vocal. Very supportive of their teams. I like that, and respect the heck out of it.

I have to get back to my lunch before it gets cold.

see ya'll tonight. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

You know .. I think it might be the wads of tobacco that we women have in our mouths /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> that might scare miss abbielooo. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I personally don't see what so terribly wrong with living in JC?? I think the folks are nice. The fans support their team 120%. yeah I agree with you. we get rowdy at the refs. I don't like seeing games getting rough where players are injured, nor does any one else.

I think we will be providing a bathroom escort service tonight. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I can't imagine being scared of Jaclson County. Now, if we were in nashville, I would be scared??

I have been to lots of games in JC in the past years and now. I have never felt scared at the games. Everyone yells at the refs. So what thats part of it. I have always been treated very nice when I have attended games there. I go to the bathroom by myself never thought about it feels same as being at our home gym. Everyone should support their team that is the reason you go to the games. I attended a game in GA at a high school a few years back if JC scares you don't go to Atlanta and go to a game.

Every gym I have ever been in, before I moved to the state of Tennessee, the visitors section was directly behind the visitors bench. This has always worked out really well, especially in the gyms where the teams sit on the first row of bleachers. (Students have always had the side opposite the benches all to themselves, and parents were always behind the home teams bench. Bleachers on the ends have had Pep Bands on one end, overlow on the other. Dont know why, but this is just the way it has always been.)

I can tell you that there are two gyms that Upperman has played in this year where the home fans should be ashamed of their behavior. And I do not see how the administration at those two schools can justify not stepping in and doing something about it.

Yell and scream all you want kids (and adults too), but when you are leaning over the bench and getting into kids faces, you have gone to far.

upperman fans are among the worst -- like i said sitting on what is traditionally

the visitors side --- when there are plenty of seats on the traditional home side

near the nice season pass seats

their kids are obnoxious and rude - even when they're asked to sit down

they stand up more - if the gym was full - - i would not say a word but it is

not full

administration should be ashamed of themselves - in my opinion

cumberland co had a game against white co last year that had 2 50+ year old mothers ejected and escorted out of the gym because of this. the cc student section is marked off and some of the white co parents started to sit behind us after the first quarter and in all honesty with us being down 50 or so those 2 ladies mustve got bored and told the whole student section to sit down. yeah right, as politely as possible we asked her to move to another seat maybe 10-15 feet down the row so they werent behind us and yes there were plenty available. needless to say they didnt. so then to put the icing on the cake she told the 2 most christian students I have ever met they were going to h311 and she felt sorry for them for having such terrible parents

(one kids parents are a deacon and a choir director, and the other one's are the sunday school director and a decon) and so when we told the police on the ladies, one of them actually assaulted our S.R.O. officer with a hand bag.

Good times /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> and with handbags at that /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Funniest thing I have read in a long time.

I stand by my opinion. If you think Upperman is the worst, then maybe you need to get out a little more. There is a handful of disrespectful kids everywhere. Im sorry that you ran into them, or continue to run into them at Upperman. I started attending upperman basketball games a year before my kids were enrolled in Baxter schools. I have only seen one game where the fans there were out of hand. And that occassion, it was both teams fans that were irate at a group of officials, and the officials were indeed completely to blame. There are obnoxious fans everywhere. There are also obnoxious visiting fans everywhere. There are people that think that ONE person yelling "go bees" is some sort of crime. That specific individual is at the game supporting his kids. He is loud, and obnoxious, and a great fan. He is respectful to others, and he doesnt yell near enough anymore in my opinion.Im sure some jerk is going to end up right in my ear tonight, just to give me crap, but that is fine. If you are supporting your team and being respectful, then that is life. And life is good.carry on. and go beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees

I think the majority of this thread is hilarious /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

truth. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I have a question maybe someone can answer. I know JC women have been accused of having to chose between paying $12.00 to support coacht or having to decide about wheather the money should be spent on chewing tobacco. My question is what happened to the spittunes in the gym? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

O.K. ladies we all agreed to stop chewing during basketball season. Chewing only at the football games /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> Seriously which one of you took all the spittunes??

Should we allow vistors to have spittunes?

I took $12 out of my childs college fund so I could support coacht (this way it didn't interfere when my chewing tobacco habit) I took one spittune, but only one! I didn't take them all! D UP D UP D UP GO BEEES a chant we can get ready for tonite, alone with a few air balls, but it's showtime and these fans from both sides love their schools, and when were not playing I to wish our neighbors the best, so come on down do your thang and enjoy yourselves but I hope you leave just a little irratated because u lost, if you win I promise I'll be iriitated but I'l force a smile and treat you nice. And don't anyone be sceerd to go in the lady's bathroom cause all our women are level headed, tobacco juice flows from both sides and they won't harm you,so do your business in peace.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
