CAK and Alcoa wanted to start off the pre season with something fun, so we decided to schedule our first scrimmage at MIDNIGHT on Friday Feb. 15th (technically it is Saturday morning, but you get the idea).

Admission is free if you would like to (and be crazy enough to) attend.

We did pick up Christian Brothers and Hendersonville in our schedule, but we did not add CSAS... Sorry about that! They are a quality program and we have played them in the past.

Those are two solid teams! CPA has scheduled MBA, Father Ryan, and BGA. All of which are at the last 5 games of the season. Should be some awesome competition for us!

BigG when you going to make a trip to Chatt. to make it easy on me to see a game. I think its only fair that you travel to me sometimes.

I am sorry. I will see what I can do on my schedule for the 2009 season to best accommodate your wishes. Please accept my gift of free admission to all of my home scrimmages to make up for your pain and suffering.

    • Yes region 1 is extremely weak but a # 5 seed out of region 2 has no business in the playoffs either.
    • They've had some great talent over the years. They usually don't whip no one but can be tough to stop on offence.
    • Could be a lot of reason from what I’ve seen so far.  The lights wouldn’t turn on at Smyrna last night and had to move games to Blackman could be a reason or maybe he is talking about how on some of the games on NFHS network the camera placement was absolutely asinine. ( had a camera set up right in front of a net and couldn’t see crap)
    • If Gordonsville can manage getting through these next 2 games without using him it will be ideal. ER was the last team to not have to pitch their #1 till the state championship i believe. Worked out well for them but they also had one of the best 1A staffs of all time that year. Only allowed one run the whole tournament and it was in the 7th inning.
    • And he’s not even their #1. Lights out performance. Gordonsville is in the drivers seat with their #1 arm available throughout the tournament.
