Sometimes it takes a little luck to win the gold ball. that maryville team on paper was not the best team in the AAA State tournament last year but they won it

Luck want help you this year if you face Manassas like you face Westside last year. Eric & Derrick want payback.

the boys? not to be rude anyone thats not a star fan is a friend of mine....but how in the world could you think that

Hate to break it to ya, but Shelbyville wont be blowing out anyone from 7-AAA in the regions, especially Siegel. I think you drastically underestimate Siegel if you think they're all about Cutter, this isnt the same Siegel team from last year. Also its worth pointing out that Siegel has beat a team that Shelbyville has lost to TWICE, and this was before Montori Hughes joined the team. I am not slamming on Shelbyville, I have tons of respect for their program, but your argument is seriously flawed. By no means am a Siegel fan, but im a 7-AAA fan and we tend to stick with one another.

Small Privet school State St. George's -VS- itdontmatter St. George's Wins

Large Privet school State Briarcrest -VS- CBHS Briarcrest Wins

1A State Game Manassas -VS- Union City Manassas Wins

2A State Game BTW-VS-CPA CPA Wins

3A State Game Ridgeway-VS-Antioch Ridgeway Wins

What do you think?

CPA certainly has what it takes to make a strong run for the state title. They are currently undefeated in Tennessee. We all know Z Mason is a monster and Hunter Miller can take over the game at any point (40+ points against Harpeth this year), but when the other three starters are playing their game, this team can beat anyone in the state. David Anderson has been lights out shooting recently, carrying the team on his shoulders when they need some outside scoring. He had 12 points in the first quarter the other night against FRA, #2 in 9-AA. Jake Peterson has worked so hard in the off-season on his game that he is money anytime he shoots within 20 feet of the basket. His percentage from the floor this year is somewhere in the 60-80% while averaging almost 10 pts. per game. Add to that his rebounding and leaping ability, and he is somewhat of an "X-factor" for the lions. Kyle Reeves has become the king of big time shots for CPA. That guy has come so far in the last two years it is ridiculous! This kid can knock down the J, spin on his way to the hoop, and find the open man when the defense collapses. Anyone see his sweet oop pass to Z for the one-handed throwdown against FRA last Tuesday? Sweet, sweet, sweet!

Go Lions!

MY predictions....wow a memphis sweep this year

A--Manassas..talent talent talent....UC is very good though saw them play earlier

AA-- Mitchell...battle tested, state experience, very hungry...just not discipline sometime

AAA--Ridgeway...fast, well coached, nice size and bigs are mobile...questionable shooting
