State Predictions 2008

Not a brainerd fan but I think they will be in the state tourney this year. Which will make two teams from their region in the tourney. Howard and Brainerd. It will be great to see Howard, Brainerd, and Austin East In the Tourney

LOL, they are unbeatable this year. Have you seen a team beat them yet? I have nothing to do with the UC program but I know a good team when I see them. Union City, I must say is better than good. Like I've said several other times on here, last year's CSAS would not be in the top 4 in Dist. 14A! Trenton would've beaten last years CSAS team!

 

I know they havent lost yet but they are not unbeatable, The Union City team from last year was probably the best team in the state but they didnt make it to Murfreesboro,

unbeatable is a senseless and stupid word....anyone who makes it to state with the exception of the "cloudland's" of the world is every bit as good and capable of beating anyone...so ease up on the words

I know I'm taking it too far when I say a team is unbeatable. I'll say it like this. It'll take a team that is VERY WELL conditioned as is Union City, it'll take a team going 150% every time down the floor on Offense and Defense, and a little luck to go along with it. The only reason I think Humboldt and Lake Co. compete with Union City is because they have athletes that can play the game extremely well. It doesn't hurt that they play each other 5 times a year and they can eventually learn the UC team.

 

If and when a team such as CSAS beats Union City, I'll be VERY VERY VERY SURPRISED!

highly doubt it...UC, humboldt, and lake co. would beat culleoka...I'm not saying a blowout...but those 3 teams will beat culleoka and moore co...

I saw Culleoka last year at state and I was NOT impressed. I guess I might be used to seeing a UC or Humboldt play all the time that I just wasn't impressed. Demario is good but if he were on a UC/Humboldt/Lake Co. he'd have more of a roll than just the superstar roll.

well last year CSAS wasnt supposed to make it past the region tourney, that was an upset!, then it was off to Pickett county where CSAS upset again in sub-state! then in the state tourney they upset and beat westside from MEMPHIS! (remember memphis teams cant be beat haha) then a huge upset nobody was looking to see against Culleoka so i mean let union city keep winning if CSAS makes it to the final again which can happen, i see CSAS having heart the size of Tennessee!!!
