It doesn't matter because Stone took a Huge win tonight over Loudon

AC beat Catholic by 12, so...

District Tourney Seeds:

1) Anderson County(10-2)

2) Stone Memorial(8-3) -- at Kingston

3) Loudon (9-3) 3rd seed because Stone Memorial swept them

4) Catholic(7-4) -- vs. Scott

5) Scott (3-8)-- @ Catholic

6) CAK (2-9) -- vs. Kingston

7) Kingston(0-10) -- vs. Stone Memorial; @ Catholic

Seeding for district tourney is set, barring Stone losing at Kingston....

Actually you can not be even farther than the truth, Loudon has locked up either first or second in the district. Loudon beat anderson and beat catholic twice. Stone lost to catholic and lost to anderson. Catholic beat stone. Anderson has locked up first or second as well depending on if Loudon beats stone or not. Look at the standing and who beat who.

and like i was sayin stone has a lock on 2 aslong as they beat kingston tue b/c ac is 1 stone 2 cuz of sweepin loudon and catholic 4 b/c of havin 4 loses so lets get ur story right before ya question people

I dont think so...Loudon is a very good team with a very good point guard but tyler crowder and bradley sherrill will lead stone to a victory

i guess u was right on the money wit this game sayin a 5 point win with big games from crowder and bradley sherrill i dunno crowders numbers but i know i heard sherrill went 6 for 6 from the three this will be a fun tourny

Bradley Sherrill was 6 for 6 from three...Tyler Crowder rebounded but didnt score that much due to gettin double teamed every time he touched but made several good passes, and Cameron Fox also had a great game...Stone will be dangerous in the tournament

Who should make All-District? My picks look like this.

First Team

Rorex

Gasper

Walden

Eller

Sherrill

Second Team

White ? Except for time on the IR would be first team

Fox

Hood

Conaty

Colvin

so.....the #1 team AC gets 2 players, catholic #4 gets 4, #3 loudon gets 3, #2 stone gets 2?

sounds a little off to me. white is a 1st teamer! how do you leave crowder off? do you play for catholic???

Catholic only has 3 guys on his list (Walden Hood Conaty) White is a sure first teamer but missed several games with injuries. I would take Crowder over Fox. I've got no problems with the first team but evening up a second team is tougher. AC's players are probably "hurt" since so many guys are sharing time. Saw where you had Longmire on your list but to me you can throw Longmire, Seiber, Cross and even Sharp into a hat and pick one and be no worse for the substituition. They've all looked very good at times. Catholic, Stone, and Loudon basically rely on 3 players(no offense to the other 2 starters and bench). Sharp and Everett are 2 awfully strong 4th options!

See the thread started by Jimmy Dolan for your All-District Team. I'd like to see everyone's opinions there.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
