Wow! What a great talent and I am not sure what happened but I love it when coaches step up and do the right team even if it means losing the best player. I HATE it when teams lose players because of a coach. Over the years way too many players have walked away because a coach crushes their players. This is shocking! What could a player do that would cause this to happen at the end of season. Must have been real bad in somebody minds.

Thanks for the link but it doesn't say anything. She had to be harming the team in some way to be dismissed at the end of the year. Coach has big ones she does.

Dismissed or quit? There is a big difference. The article doesn't elaborate on the circumstances. I believe she may have quit. May have gotten blamed for something out of her hands. Owens wouldn't have done something to get kicked off team or Coach would have said she was dismissed not "no longer a part of the team". I could be wrong, won't be the first or the last time. Only time will tell. But she isn't the first to have a disagreement with this coach.
