The single A poll is a joke. Pickett Co. beat Van Buren twice this year and as recently as friday, and Van Buren moves into the top ten? You've got to be kidding me. I see about 5 teams in the top ten that I know PC can beat, only one maybe in the top 5, Nash Christ. but Van Buren, University, Summertown, Moore Co., and the Arts and Sciences, I'm sure they could beat all of those teams. Not saying they would, just saying I know they could beat them. Rural schools don't get any love in these polls.

No Van Buren is out in the sticks as well, but they play in a district and region with major city schools. So they get more exposure.

And Van Buren beat Clay County twice which beat Pickett County. So where should Clay County be ranked?

Where in the world is the Shelbyville boys in the AAA poll? They are 24-4 with some great wins and have played a brutal schedule, including very good teams in the state and out of state. I realize there are a lot of good teams in AAA. I think Shelbyville is certainly better than Oakland, though. We'll see in the region, if they play each other. I'd say they will use it for motivation anyway.

how is Unicoi ranked 3rd in AA and been beaten by Hampton and Cloudland in A these AP rankings is about like the BS I mean the BCS in college!!
