All American?

Is there such a thing as an All American in high school? I heard that a previous player from TN made All American, but I didn't think we had such a thing.

my sister kim dunlap was a 3 time all american in high school at ezell harding i believe.

Amy Wright of Ezell-Harding/Eagles is a second-team All-American, I read. I don't remember which organization but it sounded pretty credible. Hollie Currie of Pisgah AL, a player lots of people on this board will remember, is a first team All-American and was just a junior this year. She plays 18-under out of Huntsville. If I remember right she threw a two-hitter and hit the game winning home run vs Eagles at the start of the summer.

valanna lyons from oakland high school class of 2001 was all american. she plays for the university of arkansas now.

Who determines all american status and is this associated with the NFHS? Someone had to pick these people. Did they get something in the mail from a particular company or was it voted on by a committee? Pleases tell me more about this.

Ezell has had a few all Americans, April Faircloth, Kim Dunlap, Krystal Bobo, Courtney Mitchell, Jennifer Wright and now Amy Wright got second team

What about Cara Styles? She's a good little ball player. Was she not All-American? And has she signed anywhere yet?
