Please bear with me thru the first part of my final topic of the year, for I am going to be sweet and mushy, but then I promise to stir the pot.

I Love the wrestling community!!!! Well most of them, there are still a few that haven't figured me out yet and hopefully never will. Cause it's those few that give "Shout Outs" that make my job of getting my boys geared up for next year much easier. So Thank You.

Now on to the Love Fest. I want to thank all the people for the kind words for my son Tee. As a parent it's hard to see your child not achieve a goal that he/she has worked so hard for. Luckily the support group for the Browns III /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> was there and the recovering time was quick. Even had a ref come up and give the ol bear a hug, I personally thought he hung on a little to long, and the pat on my tight a@@ may have gone past the consoling line, but I needed it so I let him be.

Congrats to Jacob Henley on a great season.

Now on to my Likes and Dislikes of the 2008 State Tournament and Season

Dislikes:

That two of the best coaches in Tennessee had topics written on them. These two men expect their wrestlers to be at their best, so why not expect that from grown men, who get paid. If I didn't have the fab three, I would love for my boys to have both Coach Eslinger and Coach Emily in their corner

I sometimes felt like I was near the Mexican border. Uncle Ronnie had lookout stands so that the Security personnel could apprehend all the low life criminals who were on the floor filming their kids. Harry made it 3 minutes and 23 seconds before being escorted out of the gym. Of coarse he was back in the building, sporting a new outfit in minutes. By the way, I did notice 2 women who seem to have a free pass on the floor, good for them.

No Double Elimination.

I had really wished that Pat Flynn, Ryan Knoz, and Mikey Fuller would have made it to the top step.

The food issue, what a joke.

That Mr Young did not get his chance to end a great season.

Likes...............................

Uncle Buck this may surprise you, but I was glad that Father Ryan came back and tied TBSFBAG for the team title. I like sharing the wealth. Plus a great young man, David Anderson, will now have a a ring that reads STATE CHAMPION.

I too am a fan of Jordan Harless. It was nice to see his reaction after his final match

Getting to know Cody Sliger. Not only is he a great wrestler, but a funny kid. Congrats and good luck at UTC

Meeting several people that post on this board. I recommend to all you people that "just read" to join in on the show next year. StarRaider, Jch76, Noonesfool PattonBoysDad and my UncleBuck. great talking to you this weekend.

My five friends seem to have spread the word on what a great guy I am, cause during the 125lb finals, someone was doing their best to help me find a seat.

My friends, Coach Art, Ijtx, carTOON, WV, Jakesdad, and marathonman.

That Mr Whitaker finished something he started 4 years ago. Congrats.

That my great friend Harry is my friend.

and last but not least, I enjoyed all 50 matches that bcb iv /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> wrestled this year, thank you boy.

bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Next year can't get here soon enough, cause I get to act like an idiot twice as much.

I wanted to see 4 things happen this year:

1) T Boone win the state

2) B Whitaker win the state

3) One particular blue boy getting a crack at wrestling both of the above

4) Cheerleaders

1 out of 4

Frustrating year but also a great one for the boys that made the grade.

A wonderful sport made a heck of a lot more fun because of Harry T and Bear Cat B. I sure hope that those I tresspassed against this season will forgive me by next November!

Next year, next year, next year!

Please let me apologize before I say this, but I must. Someone has to. I read through your other posts in hopes that you are some 16 year old kid who doesn't know any better, so that you wouldn't be the creep who looks at little girls.

But nope, you are the creep, and in a different post, you even called other cheerleaders "chicks" and made a direct correllation with them and their underpants. Ok. YUCK!

Please do not make me detail why this is so heavily flawed. This is a wrestling message board.... can you stick to wrestling, Mr. Creep?

You have more than offended me. Sorry to trample on your thread BCB.... your post was good, but I didn't know that was a song

Actually, it's a song and dance, which he is wont to do at any opportunity. Then he and Harry perform this most interesting [?] rendition of an old David Bowie song. Amazing...

Be sure to attend our next post-season strategy meeting for an encore performance.

BearCatB. a creep?

Nah......he is just misunderstood by some chick that has no clue as to how humor works......

relax and enjoy the posts.

BCB,,,,,,keep 'em coming. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Thanks for looking out for my back,but......... I think the lovely TnladyinCali was making reference to Allsaints. He is harmless Ms Cali, just an old man like myself who remembers the good old days , when cheerleaders were a big part of wrestling.

Congrats on your Bro.

bcb iii,

Thanks for making last Friday a great day for me. Seeing one of my best friends sons on his way to the champions level (Joel Brimer), meeting great people like you, Da Bears, Pattonboysdad, noonesfool and others, I know why this is such a great sport.

Hey, did James Jabaley make it to the finals. I looked on the TSSAA and he was 3 time champ "back in the day".

Thanks, again!

76 - dang i'm getting old. I'm gonna have to come up with something more creative than that.

I should have warned Allsaints... don't cross TNLadyinCali. She's a skilled wordsmith who's not afraid to whoop out her keyboard and inflict her wrath upside yo head. I just wish she'd quit beatin' around the bush and come out and say what's really on her mind. (Allsaints, if you know what's good for you, you won't touch that)

And you BCB ?! Old men??!! Whatchutalkinboutwillis? Ive done told you and told you, You're not old, you are merely OLD-ER. Me and you ain't old til we're 87. We got 40 more good years (and we're livin' 'em right now this very minute) My heart goes out to you and to Tee. Jay and I have lived your story. You work with 'em from kindergarten. You take 'em to every tournament they can stand in your area and out of state. You turn 'em over to the Awesome coaches at Notre Dame. You're still there every moment for support, bagels, and maybe even a swift kick in the pants (in a positive way of course). You still hug 'em and tell you love 'em and they know you mean it. You pull out the beads and watch the young gladiator go out there for State Finals Match. You watch him wrestle his young butt off leaving every bit of it out there on the mat. And still... he comes up just shy. They hang a silver medal around his neck and tell him to smile for the camera. And that is FANTASTIC. It truly is. Way to go TEE !!!! But still, it don't taste all that great cuz both you and Tee are WINNERS.

You go and find that gladiator. You still hug 'em and tell 'em you love him and also "WAY TO GO"!! The taste goes away after a couple days and you start thinkin' about "... just wait til next year..."

Love to you, Tee, Mullin, Voiles, & Lennon, and everybody else who wears Irish green.

Bearcat......The two women who were on the floor Taping had TSSAA press passes issued to Sportsvision and have had for the last 6 years. My wife Denise tapes for our local television show on which we will show the highlights of the Cleveland area wrestlers on our weekly sports program(taped it today to air this weekend).

The other lady takes pictures and tapes for the same purpose as well as supplying some to the local paper and the Jones Management teletron all of which are supportive media to area wrestling and TSSAA.(Although we werent nearly as involved this year as in past years as we used clips in the past for opens, closes etc when showing of the tournament on local TV channel 9). As you know it was Streamcast instead but we still do OUR local show.

We (they...the ladies) are diminutive versions of Ward Gosset and Dave Staley. Whats more those two women are MUCH easier to look at then WG and DS.

Hopefully they can come off the dislike list(LOL) as they are there at my behest for TV thanks to TSSAA allowing us to show highlights locally.

They were never on the list, the fact that Uncle Ronnie had Secret Agent men throwing people out of the gym was what was on the list. I even said good for them.

I think you need to get your wife a new camera , cause that big old thing is going to hurt her one day.

Hope you get the filming rights next year.

Turn out the lights

The season's over

They say that

All good things must end

Call it a night

The season's over

And tomorrow starts

The countdown to the same good things again.

In the meantime, hoist a few for Pez.
