I pointed out a fact and YOU were the one who concluded from that Livingston Academy was an underdog-not me. I never said they were. I always have said they were good, even after CPA beat them. If they are "playing 10 times better now" as you say, they will win every game in the tourney by 40, and it won't matter who they draw.

Man...I don't know how to make this more clear....I am the one that said LA was the underdog & I love pulling for the underdog. Anything can happen in a game(UT/Memphis & UT/Vandy). I don't know how many ways I can say it.....I wasn't being defensive before. They are playing like a different team in post season....these boys have played great. I hope they keep it up. I know there will be some good games in the Boro!!

Yeah. I'll wait until they draw to pick my winner in AA.

I've seen 4 of the 8 play, Dyer County, Bolivar, CPA and Livingston Academy. I like Dyer County from that group, would love to see Bolivar and CPA play and LA is right there. I don't think LA's big man can hang with big Z, but they have good guard play like CPA.

Austin East or Fulton will compete. The Knoxville area teams have historically done well, particularly AE.

At one time Booker T and Unicoi County were 1,2 in the AP poll and CPA and Bolivar weren't even in it. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

/popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> BOLIVAR HAS BEEN IN THE TOP TEN AP POLE ALL YEAR LONG. STARTED AT NUMBER 7 ON FIRST POLE ENDED AT NUMBER 4. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

I did read the post & that's the one I replied to....you mentioning Livingston Academy is the only team in the final 8 that has not beat a final 8 team. We are the only team not to beat one of the 8...does that not make us the underdog? I was just telling you how good they have played post season....since it has been since early season play since you beat us. I do want to draw CPA cause I feel like we are playing 10 times better now..... had CPA lost you would be the same way(It's a pride thing). Why did you think I was being defensive? If you don't want an open discussion or anyone elses view....why get on here & post.

What part of "All 8 teams are loaded with talent....good luck to everyone." do you not get....that's not being defensive.

Now that the brackets are set, we may get what you are hoping for---in round two!! If we had hit our free throws, we would have beaten CPA early in the season. Yes, we have gotten much better since then, especially inside, but don't think for one minute that they haven't too! When you get this far, it really doesn't matter who you draw. They all will be very good teams that have only improved all year long. GO BIG BLUE!!

Well, only IF CPA beats DC...and anyone who thinks that game will be a cakewalk for CPA will be sorely mistaken.

No one from CPA thinks DC is a cakewalk by any stretch of the imagination. All that talk is coming from the LA folks who are still upset that CPA beat them earlier in the season on their home court and want some revenge.

Thanks, in no way did I mean to insinuate anything neg. about CPA fans, this was directed more to the LA fans. This should be a great game. 2 Mr. Basketball finalists, 2 great teams. I for one can't wait!!!!

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
