This score surprised me too. I know scrimmages don't really mean a whole lot but CCS beat Lenoir City 6 to 0 in a thirty minute scrimmage, here again, everyone is bound to have a bad game so maybe Farragut had theirs or Lenoir City really stepped it up.

CCSMAN,

Congratulations on your 6-0 win in 30 minutes. But, let me remind you that you were playing Lenoir City's JV team.

Farragut did have a tough game the night before, so they very well could have been off their game a bit. But Lenoir City is a dangerous team, I doubt they really "stepped it up." It is more like they played their game. Nobody in this district should take any team lightly.

Farragut had a tough game the night before?! I thought they won 8-1 over Sevier County. And what does "it was more like they played their game" mean?

I am sorry you are confused. By tough game, I meant that Sevier County was a tough and rough team. There were several yellow cards and I believe a red card given. And by "their game" I simply meant they played to their skill level. I typically don't feel that it is necessary to write a novel for an explanation.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
