Dyer County vs Fulton

Congrats to DC on a great season......Cheers to Fulton's team and coaching staff.....Jeers to about 25 to 30 of Fultons fans...If anyone was out in the smoking section after the game you will know what I'm talking about....all the way from the smoking section, to the DC buss, out to about 100 to 150 yards from the gym. Ask the DC cheer leaders...they were followed to the bus, the were taunted by these fans, some were actually pounding on the bus, then about 50 yards down from the bus they were taunting some DC fans....This after the cheer leaders got on the bus....I think three cop cars arrived on the scence...then about 4 campus police ( I think thats what they were). Saw one DC fan with her two children that looked scared..I asked if she wanted me and a friend of mine to walk her and her kids around this mob scene..she told me she was waiting on her husband...she probably didn't trust me because she didn't know me because I never saw her husband arrive. I stayd back about 30 to 40 yards and watched the end of this mess.....I'm serious....it looked like a mob...would be curious if any DC people on coacht were some of the fans that these vile disgusting taunts were directed at. I know for a fact that some Bolivar fans and players witnessed about half of this because they were outside when it all started....they were as disgusted as I was. This whole incedent lasted about 30 minutes...good thing the police got there in time ( 2 police cars art first then they actually called for backup...friend of mine says tehir were 4 cop cars I only saw three..but that's beside the point). I know these type of situation are rare and I in no way direct this a all Fulton fans...but for these that done this I have NO RESPECT whatsoever for. I didn't hear every single word but I did watch this whole thing unfold from a distance of about 20 yards from begining to end. Am I the only one or were thier others that saw this.

I am not from DC but I have followed this team as well as UC and Bolivar all season...so I am not a DC homer. But I am from Jackson and saw some really good games...this was the only bad expierence of my day and night in the BORO, and I was BAD.

 

WoW... I can put up with ALOT of stuff but when you start taunting a team/cheerleaders after that team has just lost that is disrespectful to that team... I understand taunting some fans thats natural in sports happens everywhere at every level of sports! Yankees, if I was there during all of that I couldn't just stand there and let that go on... They would know the wrath of beavo5. Friend and I were keeping our distance as this unfolded but we followed the mob from a distance until the cops arrived. I can assure you if anybody touched one of those kids I would probably be a dead man because I was ready to intervene if I had to. Cops got to the scence pretty quick. I stoped where the woman and her two children were and watched her (she was really scared) and asked if she wanted me and my friend to escort her around this mess because no way was she about to take those to kids throught that crowd. true dat............that was a very intense game for the fans...Cj might get some letters after that game that he otherwise wouldn't....He opened some eyes.....very well could have elevated his status as far as recruiting goes. He was NAIA material without a doubt, with a strong summer playing aau he could go D1....even good high school players aren't capable of doing what he did tonight....this kid is a fearless competitor, he carried the team.

I've known C.J. forever he is an all out athlete not many people know how good he is in baseball i've seen him just playing around and he has an arm and a half... and he was a heck of a running back in middle school! But no doubt how good he is... I've played with him on the concrete and some of the moves he did just would make everyone go WOW did he just do that... I wish Justin could've got his shots to fall better in the past 2 games so he could've shown what he did all season long! Who gets Mr. Basketball?

John Jenkins from Station Camp is the third nominee for AA Mr.Basketball, He averaged 30.9 points this season with 2.9 three-pointers per game. He has already signed with Vanderbilt I believe.

I'm only 18 and losing my memory thats bad! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> That is impressive to score 30 per game! and I understand why the coach took him out risk of injury, but I believe the benefit is worth the risk by the stats he was HOTT from the field so I think it could have taken just 1 shot to break the record let him take 1 3 pointer if it goes he has the record if not then sit him down that is what I would have done! But i'm not the coach either!

Fulton > DC in football.. sorry guys, can't be anything but truthful on that one.

 

DC had their chances, just couldn't get the buckets to fall..

 

Reminds me of the Lady 'Taws in substate a few years ago (33-1 season).. live by the 3, die by the 3.
