Season's first 2 games in Japan?

I wish they would not play regular season games in Japan. However I think that if they play regular season games over there, they are doing the right thing by playing them 4 to 5 days before the rest of the teams open so that Boston and Oakland can recover from the long trip.

 

Any thoughts?

I agree...162 games is a grind to begin with. Looks like MLB is doing what the NBA has been doing. I think their is also a couple of regular season games played in Mexico City and P. Rico too..maybe the Padres and Nationals but i'm not sure. But yes Japan is a long way...probably a 24 hours travel schedule one way when you factor in the layover.

4-1 through 5 games. So far starting pitching has looked all right. If they can just hold serve until Carp and Mulder get back.

 

I don't think they are going to be as bad as people think they or want them to be.
