Now that the season is underway, what does it look like?

Unaka beat North Greene 6-2

 

Anything else happening. Heard some University basketball players may not play. Is that True? How are they playing?

 

Hampton has won several games but don't know about strength or conference games. What is their record?

 

Cloudland - very quiet. That is usually a bad sign.

 

Anyway help me out.

Hampton beat Cloudland 8-0... I think they are 5-0 with wins 2 wins against Avery County, 2 against Providence, and the Cloudland win.

North Greene Squeaked by Clouldland on Tues. 6-3. May be shaping up like this;

It may not be a great conference, but it is still has a Champion and a Runner-up that go to Regionals.

I heard North Greene lost to South Greene. What is up with this team? There scores are all pretty close. They made about 8 errors at South Greene and looked horrible. There was absolutely No motivation or desire. I believe every infielder had an error and the Hopson kid made two on the mound. This team could cause some damage if they get it together, but from the results Friday, it appears they're going the other direction. They could end up at the bottom this year at this rate.

Unaka took control today beating Hampton 12 to 1 in five innings they play Cloudland tomorrow and a make up game with UH wensday could be a big week

Unaka clinched atleast a tie for the conference title today winning there 6th in a row. I think 2nd is still between Hampton and UH with 2 loses apiece.
