transplant
Coach Meadows and his family will certainly be in my prayers. He is a good man and an excellent football coach. GovMan
Coach Meadows and his family will certainly be in my prayers. He is a good man and an excellent football coach. However, many times things much more important than football need to be dealt with. Good post Transplant. Coach Meadows has chosen to put his family in front of football and has made his wife and children his number 1 priority (as he has done in the past). He should be applauded for his decision. To let this thread deteriorate into the same old, tired "William Blount fans said this" or "Maryville's team does this", etc. etc. should be an embarrassment to all of us involved. Moderators ... in my opinion, this thread has run it's course. It is not longer a "rumor" ... Coach Meadows is indeed taking a year's leave of absence. At the conclusion of the year, if he chooses to return to his position, it will be there for him to do that. Life is more than high school football ... we'd all do well (me included) to remind ourselves of that sometimes. Our prayers need to be with Scott, Patti, and their children right now. MaryvilleRebels
Okay, fine... I will get back on 'topic'. According to the beliefs of the gentleman aforementioned, Meadows will go to Heritage next. He will then stay several years at Heritage and make them a competitive county team. Then he will have to fight off offers to coach in college with a sitck!
