DarrenFsDevilDawgs
shelbyville has only played two ranked opponents according to eurosportscoreboard. Riverdale and Hendersonville. They tied Riverdale 1-1 and lost to Hendersonville 4-1 yet both Hendersonville and Riverdale are 3 and 6 places behind them, respectively. also, dickson co. beat shellbyville 1-0 earlier in the year. other than that this week's ranking is great. easttnref
wow five of the top ten in AAA are from the same region a shame only two of them get to go to state
akula21
ref, just wait till we reclassify, with one possibility being a DISTRICT of Seymour, Alcoa, CAK, Catholic, Berean, and TSD, which doesnt' have soccer now. Really hope i misunderstood that on the TSSAA website! That would be brutal.

It wouldn't surprise me in the LEAST if they reclassified that way.
akula21
I looked at this more closely, and it looks like the information is based on footballs lowest 3 divisions. I saw no new districts for 4a or 5a schools, so this may not be exactly how it looks when soccer rolls around with our combined divisions. I think CAK and Alcoa are in the same conference for football but not soccer, so hopefully they would look at the competitive nature of soccer and not put everyone in the same district and then make, in my opinion, a second weaker district. Plus, what sense would a 5 team district make, I mean I hate our 10 team district now, but that is b/c we had to drive to harriman and cosby this year. yuck! I agree with Hendersonville, but, that game was SCHS's 8th game in seven days. Not making excuses they just beat us. We did play poorly that game. Dickson Co. was a fluke pure and simple. 5 is a bit high but we are going to enjoy it for now.
Eastknox22
Elizabethton put on an incredible perfomance last thursday even though they came up short, they scored in the first 2 minutes of the game against dobyns-bennet on a rip from bout 20 yards out and led til bout 10 min left til halftime, they gave up a pk in the final 10 minutes of the game and lost 3-1 but i just caught wind that they where missing 5 starters this week due to a extra curricular activity traveling somewhere, i believe they could have got a tie out of DB, they played them better than anybody else around here has so far. South also gave up two free kick goals to the tribe on friday so northeast TN is getting pretty competitive
turtleboy
Shelbyville shouldn't be in front of: 6 Independence 7 Bearden 8 Dobyns-Bennett 9 Hendersonville Not even close...

Try traveling to Stone Memorial and then Scott County! (Then imagine if you WERE Stone Memorial traveling to Scott County!) That's why I bought a I-Pod. I watched Space Balls all the way to the game last Wednesday... quite enjoyable. Let's hope that the TSSAA makes more sense with the next district set up.
