greenergrass
First round games are over now. Goodpasture, USJ, Lipscomb & Bolivar won. Looks like the only surprise might be the Bolivar win? What are your thoughts for the rest of the way?
DANR
I believe whoever wins today between Goodpasture and USJ will be the eventual state champion.
turnin two
Bolivar was impressive last night vs Anderson Co. Their pitcher really threw well. If Bolivar gets to the championship game and he's available, he'll give Goodpasture/USJ all they want.

If Bolivar gets to the championship game and he's available, he'll give Goodpasture/USJ all they want. That was the number two pitcher in the rotation. The number one man will throw today against Lispcomb.

Who does Bolivar have after those two?
Gerry Bertier
Irvin didn't pitch last night? Bolivar may be a darkhorse in this hunt.
bballfan44
Drew Griffin last night. He is very good also. Guess Irvin goes today against Lipscomb. Should be a good one. PS. That horse may not be as dark as you think

Not a Bolivar fan, just seen those kids play since they were 13. And it is baseball, come out of the lower without a loss and anything can happen. DANR
Trust me with USJ and Goodpasture still in, everyone else is a darkhorse to win it. Thats why the game today is so huge. The looser is behind the 8 ball, the winner is sitting pretty. I have a hard time seeing usj or goodpasture beating the other twice in a row. volsfan66
Yes, that is what I understand. Who does Bolivar have after those two? Really just one more pitcher. Jason Overton is the third pitcher and he is not bad himself. He kept usj in check for about four innings early this year.
