Jose Lopez from Haywood. This kid has a HUGE leg and very accurate...should be a secret weapon for the tomcats! something they havent had in a while in this phase of the game.

Cody Jones from Jackson Christian School was a PERFECT 9 for 9 in kicking field goals last season and he was 26 of 28 on extra points. I believe he was a finalist for Mr. Football in 2A as a kicker. He was a sophomore last season.

 

It's hard to top that!

The 2008 edition of Tennessee Football magazine has Cody Jones as the #2 kicker and Mitch Ross (Bolivar) as the #2 punter in the entire state..regarless of class. I picked the magazine up this weekend at booksamillion. It can be purchased for $8.95 + tax. Lots of good stuff , check it out.

The kicker for Lexington is real good also. He's pretty much money from 40 to the extra point.
